I have 2 questions actually,

First myself and another fellow stoner were discussing the potency of generations and neither of us are experts by any means but couldn't find out wether the first harvest is going to be the most potent and then every other harvest gets weaker? Hope anyone can settle this on going debate with some facts.

Second I have read that hallogen lights are horrible to use but one of my fellow stoners runs a 500 watt hallogen ( a work light that costs 10 dollars at walmart) work light and some 40 watt florecent shop lights and seems to get decent results, so are hallogens a waste or not?

Good to veg......but the real winner is either HPS or CFL's....just my opinion.


When you say the second harvest....you mean clones from the first??

from the same plant? as long as the plant is healthy and well taken care of, later harvests will be just as potent as the first. most ppl dont re-veg and then re flower plants because it takes such a long time its just not worth it

as for halogens, from the faq YaHooka Forums - FAQ: Lighting Issues
so youd be better getting rid of the halogen and moving the florecents as close as possible

I believe you are asking if clones taken from a plant will be less potent than the original plant that came from seed.

The answer is no. The clones will have just as much potential as the mother plant. Grown well, they will be just as good.


As far as the lights go,the fluorescent lights are the ones providing the best light for him. The halogen is putting out more heat than light in a usable spectrum. Get rid of the halogen and add more fluorescents.
