When should I harvest my blue mystic

Ok so I've been reading confliciting reviews about when to harvest my blue mystic it looks done to me... I've looked at the trichomes with me 60x scope but I'm still not sure how to distinguish the color of the trichomes... I've been trying but just can't figure it out... The calyxes look like they are swelling and a bunch of the hairs are dieng back
any info as to how to distinguish the trichome colors or any other ideas as to figure out harvest time would be greatly aprreciated
I'm in the bay area of ca and am growing blue mystic from nirvana
thanx for all help in advance

That is all you need to know. ^

Take a cutting of an inner leaf and look at it in good lighting.

Try some good binoculars backwards, it works perfect for me.

^ Yep.

Or about 55 - 60 days flowering indoors should do nicely for blue mystic. if conditions are good.

Thanx for ur input... I apreciate all of it...
I've always had a problem with my harvest times... Maybe due to the fact that I never grew the same strain twice but I've never picked it at peak harvest
but I am going to stick with blue mystic from now on... Which is what I currently have going indoors... Along with a few other small indicas here and there (I have 1 pure power plant 1 purple kush (an Oakland original) and 3 blue mystics) so I can control my harvest period but what I really have a hard time with is seeing the color in the tip of the crystals I know what I'm supposed to see but I just can't see it is it possible that 60x is too magnified to see the color in the trichome should I get a 30x as recomended?
Also does anyone know about when exactly the outdoor flowering season started? And if outdoor flower time is same as indoor flower time?

I can't imagine 60x being to strong, good lighting is all you need I'm sure.

Harvesting outdoors depends upon your latitude, I'm not exactly sure where to find a chart on that. Just go to weather channel and claculate the sun rise and set times for the middle of each month and you should be able to get a good estimate of when the sun went 12/12. Some indicas will flower under 13/11 or even 14/10, so it really does depend on the strain to be honest.
