Should lights be left on 24 hours a day in early stages of sprouting? At what point should the hours be cut back?

You can leave them on 24 hours throughout veg. I've done most combinations, 24/0, 20/4, 18/6 and 16/8. With less lite, I vegged a little longer, 5 weeks being the shortest and 6 weeks being the long. No appreciable difference in the final product for me.

But I'd say 24 hours for the early stages.
