Is it ok to grow in a townhouse that you own?

I am going to be purchasing my first property soon.

I plan on having a small grow (2-3 plants) going on pretty much a continual basis for my personal use.

I am leaning towards a townhouse because I get more bang for my buck, and when I finally buy a regular house, I would prefer it to be somewhere that i would live in forever.

So would it be significantly more risky to grow in a townhouse then a single family house in your opinion?

USA. In a major city. Dont want to get more detailed then that for security purposes.

It is a middle unit with neighbors on each side. Its about 1300 square feet, and has 2 beds, 2 baths.

Like slunt said it totally depends where you live, even if that means the US..

townhomes are much more legit than apartments though.. good luck. i'd suggest you just get a tent and some simple ducting for the window.

i live in a basement apartment, the house is split into two apartments, im a student and the poeple upstairs are students, they smoke or like pot, and would likely not like that im growing. I was planning on growing a couple plants 2-3 in a cellar, the cellar is located under the front steps of the house, the people upstairs use the front door and i use the back door. Do you all think that i can grow without the smell being noticed, im considering using carbon filters in my ventilation. i was hoping to use a bathroom type fan for ventilation. Tell me what you all think.

honestly, no i don't think you can do it without it smelling.
