what's about the light time during the night

hi.

I am starting a new nursery with 8 talea next week.
I am thinking about to give them the light time during the night, due the lower electricity price on those hours

does anybody know any inconvenient doing that. I hear about the lunar cycle...

any suggestion,

thanks
L.

i'm not sure i understand the q...but will try and help you!

talea...is what strain?

to start...24 hours light is my suggestion....

will you be using fluros, cfl's, mh or hps lighting??

electricity is cheaper after peek hours that's a bonus!

gotta make sure there's no light what so ever though when they're sleeping...

Are they clones or from seed?

I do that all the time. I like being home for the majority of time the lights are on, the load on my electrical system is less at that time and during the summer months it makes sense for heat reasons. The lunar thing I wouldn't know about, but growing indoors kind of fucks with how mother nature does things anyway.

ok

talea means clone,so , when you cut a piece of a mother plant and you make of it another plant.

I will use a 400HPS for 4'.2" times 5' times 4' growing box, and the 6 plants on it will be grow on a screen of green frame 1'1" higher than the soil, due to the lack of height in my indoor space.

my goal is to use the 18 hours of light in the veg and the 12 of flowering mostly between 8.00 pm and 8.00 am because in my country elettricity is cheaper during the night time. Any light will be in contact with the plants during their nights, 100% sure

I know that mine could be a silly question, but my buddy told me that maybe, the moon might influence the growing even if you are indoor....does anybody know about it.

Yeah running them when the economy tariff kicks in will save a few bucks and 18hrs will be fine for veg.

You can run them 24hrs in veg no probs also.
