Turn lights off before harvest?

Just wondering if anyone turns their lites off for a couple of days before harvest. I'm offing my girl on Sunday. Does it make the buds frostier? Or it just one of those old stoner tales?

ive done it on all grows, for 24 hours leave em dark, legend has it that the plant produces more resin at night so ive been told..... i cant say its hurt our stuff or made it better cuz ive always done it, hey worth another day right?

It will bring on maturation of the trichs- sometimes this technique is used on long finishing sativas.

Beware of mould- if you have low night time temps watch out- make sure there is air movement.
