ac unit
so the room got to be 93 degrees...... damn cali..... so i had to go with an ac unit. checked craigslist and found a free one... get there and its a taller than longer unit, perfect for my room. installed it tonight and gettin ready to seal it but have turned it on and am back to 76.5 at medium cooling setting. so hopefully this unit holds out for another month or two.. heres some pics, had to put the ac unit a little higher because of the room setup but it seems to be working. the other pic is the plants, i think they got heat stress. if so, how much longer until they "recover" from the extreme heat.... btw theyre still vegging so hopefully no thc damage right, ha
thanksohhhh btw, until i get a better unit with a thermostat is there a way i can hook it up to a timer/thermostat to keep the thing not running 24/7? its 110. thanks |

Leaves usually curl up not down due to heat stress.
Is the soil dry? If so water vigorously. You can get a on/off temperature contoller designed for fans, as long as the wattage is ok it would work fine for an a/c unit. Or just use a segment timer.
