I'd prune that plant in the first pic.

400w blue bulb- is that a metal halide HID bulb with a ballast?

The more light (lumens) you have the bigger your harvest up to a point.

I assume the lights you have been using are CFLs- are they 60w or is that the equivalency rating?

The light should be of the right spectrum for the plants.
MH bulbs put out a fair amount of bluish light and are good for vegging, ok for flowering. Sodium bulbs put out a more yellow- orangish light which is better for flowering.

CFLs come in a variety of spectrums.

A 400w bulb (of whatever kind) will put out a lot of heat- if you do go up to a bigger light let your plants acclimatise gradually, be careful not to put the big light too close too quickly.

You said you were using miracle grow, do you happen to know the N-P-K ratio of the mix? I'm thinking that because your plants are flowering they may need additional nutes not provided for in the soil.

Ok, the soil you have is NPK 9-7-14. NPK stands for the amount of nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium (potash) present in the soil. These are the three main nutrients needed for plant growth. Gimme ten seconds so I can re-lookup the NPK ratio for flowering pot...

Edit: When its budding, weed needs a bit more phosphorus, something like 15-30-30. I know theres a Sticky here somewhere to show signs of nutrient deficiency here somewhere, and thats useful in determining what nutrients, if any, your growing plants need.

The fish fertilizer you have is NPK 5-1-1 btw, so maybe something a little stronger. Fox Farm Big Bloom works fine, but I dunno what all you have access to.

If theres a greenhouse or a garden supply, look there. I've never seen anything worth using at Walmart, Lowes, and the like. If nothing else, the internet will send it to ya.
