carbon filter ona ?

Hi to every one, in the grow bible there is a section on diy filter makeing but it does'nt explain what ona is so could someone please help much thanks.

Coincidentally, I just stumbled on this DIY Smoke Filter/Air Conditioner

Q&D air conditioner (2.5 hrs to make one!)

I heard its only effective for a less smelly strain, and useless for anything over a couple of plants. Never tried it myself though.
