4xSnozberry

Nutrients

FloraNova Grow
FloraNova Bloom
B-52
Floralicious
BigBud

Soil
Fox Farm Ocean-force
Vermiculite

Im in week 3 of veg. getting pretty close to start flowering. I have been fighting with this 1000watt putting out so MUCH heat! Anyways i posted a few pics of what my shits looking like as of 23days.

I think there is something wrong with some of my plants.. could it be nitrogen or nutrient burn? Also i PH the water to 5.5-6.5 and test the PPM and keep it under 1200.

Tempature is around 77-82 But never higher than 85 Degrees
Humidity is 57

I apply my Nutrients at this rate per Gal.
Grow 7.5ML
Floralicious 1ML
B-52 1TSP - twice a week only

I do this Once every 2 days but am wondering if i should every day?

Can someone tell me whats up with the leaves curling? Lack of watering?

Any Advise welcomed thank you!

Thumbs up

Day 23 of veg! That big lamp has sure made them grow fast.

Digital fusion has the ballast on board right? If so this will give out more heat than a reflector with a remote ballast.
They don't look heat stressed anyway- you look like you're winning that battle .

Re the nutes- they are not nutrient burnt- you would see the tips of the leaves burning- I can't see any sign in the pics.
So if you are feeding every other day you will probably be fine to feed most days as long as they get the odd plain watering. If the nutes do get too much for them (burnt leaf tips) you can quickly reduce the dosage or frequency before any serious harm occurs.
I don't know the nutes you are talking about but if you're monitoring the ppm and following the manufacturer's schedule for the proportions then that all sounds good. B52 is a b vit supplement?

The two plants in the 3rd pic might be a bit dry- judge this by the weight of the pots- don't be scared to give them a good thorough watering if they feel lighter than the others

I guess you are worried at the twisting of the new growth at the tops?
I think a dose of Epsom salts (1tbs per 5 gal water) or appropriate micro nutes with Mg might help stop that- I suspect they are growing so fast they are getting short of magnesium.

They will probably double or more in hight during flowering- bear this in mind when deciding when to put them into flowering so they don't get too big for the space.

If this is your first grow then you are doing well so far! Also well done, your post has all the important information, makes it real easy to reply to.

They are looking good for 23 days in veg for sure.
I'd say FG is right on the money. 20" exhaust? I'm surprised you don't have to tie the plants down.

I'm kinda surprised you don't have nute burn. Ocean Forrest is nutient rich especially for vegging. I cut back to just feeding a couple times during veg and still end up with some burnt tips.

Still, your plants do look good.

As far as the 20" exhaust fan goes its . Theres a 4" hole from the inside out and the fan is turned around to blow the OLD air out. Well that's what im hoping it does. Heat rises so i have the fan mounted at top of room.

I need some advise, my light is so hot that when i hook up the 6" ducting to the Light Hood and turn the inline fan on, It does a terrible job at sucking the hot air out. I reversed it to blow air on the light and still no difference. Do you think the problem is that i dont have a glass cover in my hood system??

Most everyone i talk to says my room should be cooler with the inline system. For now whats working the best is just having the inline fan draw cold air from outside and blow it into the room.

open to suggestions.

thank you for everything you wrote.

As far as my leaves curling i will give the salt a try. I usually dont mix more than 2 GALS of water per watering so ill compensate.

Advanced Nutrients B-52 is especially formulated to give plants a super boost of energy by raising the plants metabolism. B-52 increases nutrient uptake by providing naturally occurring hormones and vitamins that plants could never get elsewhere.

Iv seen what it has done in person. Just look at Sirsmokesalot grow. Keeps the plants Very shrubby and bushy.

Iv been hearing mixed assumptions on when to flower. Some say now, others say 2-5more days. I want the smaller 2 plants to catch up with the others. So iv been moving them around. I will be tying them down gradually . How much taller do you guys think they will get during flowering? Some say they wont some say they will be 2ft taller.

Also when i PH my water then add nuts. will the PH go back up?

As always thank u!

how many cfm's is the inline fan? i have a 1000 and the heat can suck, i use a 400cfm and it seems to be fine. it still gets hot in there because its 110 outside. sucks that your ballast is on the light, i moved mine outside and it dropped the temp like 3 degrees.

thats the thing its like 60 degrees outside at night. I think i need to rig something to fit on each of the 6" holes. Or get the glass bulb cover. Not sure what to do yet.

If you need more fans to push air/make it cooler, look on craigslist or the papers. Look for old air conditioning units. They come with decent inline fans and you can get the unit for maybe $20. Just pry it open, pull the thing out, and take the wires, strip em and attach to a stripped extension cord. Real basic electric work. I'm assuming you have some technical knowledge from setting your room up? Anyways, the fan will move a ton of air, and at a helluva lot cheaper than just buying the fan itself.

Damn, I'm blazed. Surprised i finished that.

I'd expect them to double in height.

The pH will probably go down after you add the nutes to the water.

I hate those little buggers.
A glass on the reflector will reduce the heat quite a bit. There's a 6" hole on both front and back?

used avid and it worked flawlessly.

Mixed a spray and hit the plants 2 times. Sprayed under the plants leaves when they where sleeping. Waited 2 days for new eggs to hatch and sprayed then again. A day After i used a spray pumper to rinse plants off with just water.

Leaves are un-curling, the white specs are going away and plants are looking way healther.

Will post pictures of week 2 flowering.
