The water level should just to say touch the bottom of the pot so that both water and air are available for the roots.

i have noticed, btw, that running an hps about 20" above my buckets causes serious rise in PH in about half a day. ill have a 1000w mh bulb soon so no more bs just growth.

Interesting theory, the light raising the Ph.
The first and second pic look like a slight Mg def maybe?
I love the babies. Most don't agree but nothing beats baby pics for me... but macro bud shots come close.
That 1K should really rock the babies.
