Hash question

Ok so I've been smoking mainly hash for the past couple years... I like it way better than smoking the whole buds there is less irritation of my lungs my guess is because I'm not smoking any of the chemicals....
But it's getting kind of expensive to keep buying hash from harborside... Though it is nice how they've scientifically tested it all for potency and molds
But I want to know how to start making my own... I want to make professional hash like they sell at the club
Do I need a clean room? Do I need to filter the air or is it really not that complicated

theres guides/instructions on how to do it here on yahooka; search around. theres more than one way to do it. the thing is tho, it takes a lot of buds to make a little hash, and its a bit of work. so thats why its expensive

Unless you're already growing, it's not worth it. If that is the case then just watch some youtube videos. It's very hard to make better hash than what you can buy though because those people have much more experience. You gotta learn sometime though, right?

I've found youtube videos to be the best if you're looking to make full melt.

Yea I am growing now... I also found some bubble bags in my garage last week and I have not stopped thinking about using some of my older unused buds to make some hash of my own
I will definitely use YouTube as a reference I don't know why I haven't thought of that
And ya I do need to just try it I think... I guess it kinda worries me because I know it's very easy to contaminate a batch of hash

it's really not that easy to contaminate. The whole point of a solvent or bubble extraction is that your taking things out not putting them in.

unless your using some method im not familiar with. bute hash is fairly safe and pure if you dont buy fucked up butane, and i cant imagine how you could introduce contaminants into a bubble bag.

Bubble bags are great..how many bags did you find? We have three but I would rather have the 5 bag system.

I found the results better when we froze the keif and stirred with a spoon rather than an electric mixer.

We like the blender method....5 cubes per 28 oz.

yeah i looked all over you tube, im gettin ready to make some as well..... they said that 100grams of trim will make about 10 grams of hash, having never done it i dunno, but i think the bag way looks pretty fool proof but thats what i thought about outdoor growing too,,,,,

hey if i have a plant that i pulled a little early can i just throw it in and make hash with it. or should i cut some fans off and then throw the buds in there?? whats better dry or wet product to use???

the only thing ive read about "contaminating" is just making sure your buckets are clean and...........(remem ber this is you tube talking) make sure when your hash is wet, you press it with the spoon or whatever and try to get all the water out. to prevent molding and separation later. they said about 12 hours for dry time.from what ive also gathered from videos is the different screens are responsible for different potency's in hash?? right??? sorry to but into your thread sirsmokes.... but i was gettin ready to make a thread, so this way i dont have to, and hopefully it helps you as well

i checked all throughout the posts do you know where the blender one is, i think that would be the most, economical way(make sure you get it ALL!!) how much do the cubes weight when their done?

I'd say more like 40-1....that all depends on how much t there is and how many bags...i'm on a 3 bag system 66-44-23

When i said 5 cubes - I mean 5 ice cubes add 28 oz's of trim and the rest ice cold water.....blend for 3 minutes...repeat 3 times and shake 1st bag, which empties into the second bag....which sits in the final bag, my favorite, the yellow bag.

The stickies are visual aids....it's fairly easy to do....just shake the bag before it gets too heavy and the you can loose that valuable green foam!

I actually found 7 bags all together I'm not sure if they are all part of the same kit or what but they are brand new... I haven't event thought about using all of my trims I was going to just use my old buds that I trimmed up for sale last year but nobody bought it so now it's hash material for me

I have a couple cats along with a 4 year old so I have to be creative with where I do this... My cats love to shed allover my buds when they are drying so I had to get a drying net pretty cool
Can I store the hash in my grow shed? I have some dark areas in there but it gets to the high 80s during hot days will that degrade it?

if you flatten the chunk of hash........or shape into balls.........the hiding places in plain sight are endless.....once she's dry.....hash lasts years 'n years in all sorts of conditions.
