hya im probly worrying over nowt but i wanta know-ive had ten mixed fem seeds under damp kitchen roll all popped a spike in 48 hours so sowed in good soil put a little clingfilm over em and put em sumwhere warm- been 2 days now and they havent popped up yet im worried that sumats wrong-these seeds wernt cheap and ive grown a few previously and usually up by now-how long can the take to actually show above ground?
i probly sound like a fanny but im dyin to have a dig round and have a look

That sounds like a viable plan.

Patience- don't dig them up unless you're sure they are dead, you'll almost certainly damage them if you do. I'd leave them a week to be sure.

I usually just germinate them straight into the soil but your way should work fine.

dude they are fine unless you buried them too deep. if they dont pop in another 2 days i'd (me personally) take some dirt off the top of them very CAREFULLY until you see their tippy tops.

if there is a bean pod there with a root coming out the bottom you are good to go. if the shell of the seed is on or the little condom type food package for the seed is still on LEAVE THEM ON.

Food is stored inside the leaf and the (plastic condom looking) wrapper of the leaves. These are important for the development of the inner leaf, not the first set of baby leaves but the first actual cannabis edged (serrated) leaves...

once i took a condom off of one of my beans and the first serrated leaves were dead black. the plant is still growing but i should have left the wrapper on. i could see the food inside it when i took it off, looks like whats inside a lima bean.
