Meeker's Magic Mix..... Goose repelant?

Hey People,

Think this is my first post in here actually.

The other week, some of you know, I was driving across the county of Canada to my new home in the east-er part.

While I was hitting the highway I listed to a lot of radio and one day... yes daysssss..... I heard a product that perked my ears and made me think of you all.

Meeker's Magic Mix was the product and it was being talked about as being goose repellent. It's a fish based product, which made me wonder about what other animals would think of this, so I thought I'd let you all know about it and maybe the outdoor growers would give it a try?

Guess I ought to say first created thread

I suppose geese could I was just wondering if it had implications for other animals as well. Sometimes I know fish guts can attract some things.. so I was surprised about this and thought it would be worth a post.

I find this extremely interesting as well.

I just looked it up and read that geese mainly eat grains. They've had the stuff tested and it's safe. All it is is fish guts and sawdust.

I too, thought maybe it would attract other types of wildlife. Maybe the sawdust repels those critters.

Pretty cool though. A great use for waste products.

^ haven't heard yet!..

The fish gut smell will attract the bears, beaver and fox for sure!

Now that sawdust....is it from pine or a hardwood..??
Other than acidity...and a compost..: confused:

Don't have any answers PG.... this was more of a suggestion.

Ph is certainly a concern and now that you mention it, that DID come to mind when I was listening to the show.
