I have a little problem...
Recently I acquired multiple cuttings already in the vegetative stage. They are approx. 1-1.5 ft tall on avg. They have been treated well with proper nutes and look amazing, and have been under 24h of light for the past 2-3 weeks. However, today I was surprised to discover that two were budding. The plants must have been inside a room when 12/12 was initiated before I received them, but I did not know of this.
Considering the plants are under a 400w fluorescent light and most of them are probably only a month old, and in no way ready to be flowered, this is obviously a problem. I AM in the process of getting a proper 1000w HPS, but that won't be for a few days, at the least. Also, one of them could sustain a harvest as it is older, and has been pinched and bent many times already and has 4 solid stems with much growth and is very strong and bushy. But the other one is is no way ready to flower. I am also worried about others popping buds in the coming days. I am not familiar with the effects of attempting to revert back to vegetative growth once flowering has already commenced. My question is simple: What should I do? What are the effects, etc.? I am completely clueless in this aspect.

I just spoke to someone and they told me that it is likely just showing it's sex, and not budding, since they are clones and already mature. I have no experience in clones (even though I have a shitload of them) so I didn't know this. I've only dealt with seed before.
Either way, I am going to post some pics for better reference.

yeah, thats what I was thinking. Either way, putting it on a 18/6 or a 24 hr light schedule will do the job of reversing/ensuring it continues in vegetative growth. Pics are always welcome though. What strain are we talking here? Im just curious.

My computer is being extremely slow right now, so uploading is a pain in the ass. Here are some direct links:
http://img823.imageshack.us/img823/169/dsc01201s.jpg - Close-up of the biggest one (UK Cheese) http://img718.imageshack.us/img718/3051/dsc01185jp.jpg - My camera cannot get in close enough to really show it, but the see through thing right in the middle are two white hairs coming out. That was what I was referring to earlier. Their are a few more, on another plant as well, but it wasn't even worth taking a picture of. http://img25.imageshack.us/img25/6571/dsc01166sm.jpg - Clones http://img819.imageshack.us/img819/1710/dsc01186nw.jpg - UK Cheese Again http://img27.imageshack.us/img27/1081/dsc01177nu.jpg - Close-up

Your plants are showing preflowering.
From seed preflowering usually takes around a month to show. Because yours are cuttings they are effectively the same age as their parent plant- ie a month or more. This is all good and to be expected. You shouldn't see them actually start to flower properly until you change to a flowering light schedule. Some strains like ruderalis will autoflower regardless of light schedule. Nice looking plants .
