What to do with this baby?

I never grew indoors or straight from a seed so I wouldn't have a clue what's the best way to make sure this baby has a future:

If you decide to go soil.....all I always say is, 'keep the soil built up like mini-turtle necks'..!

And don't over-water.

ain't it the cutest thang.

What are your plans? Indoors? Outdoors?

You do need to plant it into something pretty soon. Don't squeeze the stem.

soil covering about 2/3 of that stem buddy
still time for outdoors, not a long season, but a mature plant at least
or indoors?

Good advice above.

Looks a beauty so far. What are the lighting options?

I made some potting soil out of perlite that had previously been used for a mushroom grow, long story short the mycelium colonized all 3 pots and ate the nutrients killing the plants

I think we fucked up, I feel like I run over a cat, when I tried to pot it the root broke off, it was just as long as the stem... its inside a pot now with flower potting soil. If it survives I'll get it outside after my house inspection next week.

An interesting article in Skunk last month or before about putting a little sprout in an automotive type sponge. Kind of a back to basics approach. My be something to try with your baby. I have no details or links or anything beyond that. I'm worthless.

Hmm sponge medium. I can't think why it wouldn't work with a well timed irrigation system .

I just have to ask... did the mycelium ever mature to fruiting bodies? That would be too sick, if you could have a bud plant with shrooms growing on the soil.

Anyway, it died, R.I.P. got more seeds so next question before I do the same mistake of waiting for it to sprout in water soaked toilet paper in a wine glass, what do i do with the seeds?

Intention is indoors but not hydro, got a spare back room and everything is perfectly legal, live in a territory where possession of up to three plants is decriminalized.

Any advice very welcome!

the main error you made was letting the seed grow too big
that thing was about to start budding
i'd go with what you've tried again, get back on the horse bud.
but i usually sow direct into those little seedling trays 5-10mm deep
then wait til they get a little bigger (one more leaf set) than that one up thur
then pot up.
make sure neither of those pots are full of fertilizers
just get the plant going
All i look for when germing in paper towel is about 1cm of tail
then i dont want to bury it, just put the tail in and let the seed sit near the surface

I know alot of folks here germ on paper towels, but I never did. I just placed the seed directly in a rockwool cube or grow medium and then bottom watered so the seed wouldn't move around.

It works great and you have no risk of damage to the sprout.
