Fan leaf Issue?

Hey fellow grow enthusiast(s), This plant has been very oK... it's 'bout 3 wks Had a flush about 3-4 days ago...soil is now drying out, upper fan leaves have a weird bent? NO Nutes for 10 days.
'cause I was letting the soil dry out for feeding at a later date...
(like Today...LoL).
The soil is now dry, it is time to give it something!
I just foliar sprayed with plain 7.0 water seconds b-fore pic shoot.

I'd say go ahead with the N, chances are they just need watering and that's why the leaves are drooping- nutrient od usually shows up in burnt leaf tips.

However leaves curling into a claw shape can indicate nitrogen toxicity but since you haven't been feeding them recently this seems unlikely.

High humidity and/or bad air circulation could also cause similar symptoms.
It could also be caused by dry and sodden pockets in the soil making the roots unhappy. Provided you have well draining soil don't be afraid to water generously when you do water- this should even out the water content (make it homogenous) in the soil.

Thanks Man, Well I just needed some solid support, as we all well and know that this starts as a hobby, then an addition, which then becomes an obsession! The advice I have received here on this forums and others is no doubt, extra ordinary! With all appreciations) and gratitude, hope to chat very soon! happy, happy! P.S. Ventilation is better than average, soil is aerated daily, and CFL's have been good to me! Just started some Hydro, and some soil-less to understand the various techniques in this highly fascinating culture. Thanks again...I will add you to my friend list....if you approve.
Ciao Hey check out my new thread on the "new" fan I acquired today for the babies!

Wel, I am experimenting with this grow PG, It is a soiless mix, Verm, Perl, Spag...so that said we'll have to see...regarding the cfm's...not sure I am new to this schtuff, and do not know how to measure it...However there is a large overhead fan that keeps it quite breezy. I added the Hawaiia
n Breeze for the Hydro that I recently started....The last time it was FF and castings! Did a good job, but I am a "research junkie" and read up on different grow mediums, so I decided to try some new approaches, When I had the soil going, I encountered Fung Gnats!!! What a pain, did my research and ridded them with some DE, and anti - Fung! Did the trick!

I'm gonna take a stab at this one...I'm pretty sure a bathroom fan a standard one should have somewheres around 150 cfm's....which is not much...to e-vac a room.. next time im in reno-depot, i'll check on that....

Might be a good idea to build a cabinet or adapt a wardrobe or build a false wall with a growroom behind it. Easier to control air quality that way.

You can get some real bargain bathroom extractor fans.

I'm betting it's more expensive to buy a 150cfm washroom fan new than a new axial or used inline

Hi Dand...Thanks for the input

Air circ is not a prob in my "so called" G-room...My g-room is small and personal. Conditions are way less than optimum.

The Cannabis plant is a resilient plant that although does require a lot of care and attention to achieve results, (just like my outdoor strawberry patch) needs nurturing.

If you compare what I am working with, as apposed to the more sophisticated set ups shown and described on forums and web pages such as this, it is still possible to generate a healthy fruitful plant.

My, (g-room) as crude as it is, can and does produce fine results.

Solving plant issues is a tough task, as with any type of indoor grow, whether it be tomato's or thyme or lettuce.

Care and nursing is key. Understanding how a plant cell, or human life cells work to sustain life to endure the entire grow cycle, from birth through maturity and productivity including harvesting, and reaping the yield is the goal.

Essential nutrients, O2 and H2o is what all forms of life needs to exist. The earths atmosphere, and the give and take of O2 and converting it to CO2 keeps the "revolving" door apprise.

Work with what you have to work with, and maximise it's possibilities...

in other words "be smarter than what you have to work with"

Trial and error is well worth it's weight in gold...

One can never learn enough...especially without making mistakes!

Reasearch and the application of knowledge learned, will far outgain any ]investment[/U][/I]COLOR] needed for success.
