Males?
First time grower here. Can you please confirm these plants are males before I toss them out? Many thanks.

1st is a hermaphrodite (see the pollen sacks and also the pistils?), 3rd is mostly a boy but some hermaphrodism is showing- can't really see too well with the 2nd but think it's a boy.
Do you have light leaks in the growspace when lights are off?

Thanks for your reply. I thought pistils and sacks on the same plant looked strange. No light leaks that I know of. I'm growing in my basement. I'll look for that tonight.
Pic 1 is I hope a better picture of what I think is a male. Pic 2 is what I think is a female and she isn't looking to good. I assume she needs nutes? |

Pic2 There is some spotting on the leaves which could be magnesium def (most likely) or maybe calcium or copper. Could be caused by a pH issue. She looks good for the main nutes (npk). What soil are you using? Looks very dry on top yet the plant only looks a little thirsty.

I'm sure I'm using poor soil. It's all I could find in the dead of winter. I noticed after the fact of course on the back of the bag "not for containers". Any way to recover at this point?

Looks to me like a couple are hermies.
Cut those things down and start again ![]() What strain/cross are they? I would start looking for the light leak as well. Be a pretty shoddy strain/cross if the soil did that... even if it was fair blistering hot.

White Widow seeds from this place which I believe was recommended somewhere on Yahooka. Buy Marijuana Seeds and cannabis seeds from Holland - high quality marijuana seeds (cannabis seeds)
Thanks for the tip about the light leak. It's pitch black when I shut off the light for the day. Here's another one of my plants with the same problem Any other ideas? |

You have to sit in the dark for about 15 minutes to find minute light leaks.
Takes longer than one figures. Either bad genes or some serious stress.

Soil probably has something in it that raises or lowers ph, may also have a nute problem but i had the same problem with the soil, some soils have acids or alkaline's in them to 'naturally' balance the ph, but its no good when you want the ph to stay the same.
check into it. Also that plant looks like a nice female too me. |

klaas (seedfinder.eu) has obviously done his homework. If you can find that recommendation on yahooka we'll be sure to remove it....
