High ya'll. Just joined, but wanna jump right in. I live in Texas (non-medical mj state... arrrghhh!!!),and right now it's DRY here! Goin bonkers doin without, but have read about spring harvests and was planning to try one as I could at least look forward to that. Can I germinate and let the seedlings have what sun there is on bright days in the window till warmer weather comes, then move them outdoors full time, then force flowering with opaque black plastic bags? Has anyone here ever done this? How tall/big do the plants have to be force flowering can be attempted? Please give advice, and I am so glad to be in the company of friends of the same mind! God bless all and thanks.

Okay, first off, the window won't give enough light. You're gonna see major stretching that way, and its not a good thing. If you could string some CFL bulbs up, you could make it work that way.
You can force flower at any time, really. Just take into account that the smaller the plant, the less weed you get. A good bet is to give them a month grow time before you force flowering. I used to live in Texas, what part you stay in?

Well, I used to live in Amarillo, up in the Panhandle, and also down in Houston.
Now I kick it in Oregon

Well, they haven't passed the dispensary law yet. It was on the 2010 ballot but didn't go through. That being said, theres tons of medical quality smoke up here because of all the patients growing their own and selling the excess. And we have the lowest top quality bud prices in the USA.

I live in Texas and heres a method that'll work for ya sho' nuff.start them inside under flouro's till its warm enough to move them outside(after april fools day).when youmove them outside they'll immediately start to flower.the light intensity at that time of year mimics fall light,as do temps.even tho' the light is getting more intense, trust me,they'll flower just like its fall.I had it happen to me before.good luck, see ya in the funnypapers,'Buz
