First successful indoor grow <Week 7 flowering>.
Got four plants in my garden under a 400w hps, and a few smaller lighting units.
Grown in soil mixed with other mediums like clay pebbles. Fed on a complex diet (Two part bloom plant food A&B, headmasta, buddy, overdrive and dryflower for flushing.) First is the big Jack Herrer plant which is 7 weeks into flowering. The Jack plant came from a bag seed so it could be crossed with something else like the others. Next we have a Grapefruit x blueberry seed which came from some blueberry bud. Great grower, best to be grown in a bigger pot then a 2 gal to unleash its potential, vegetative growth was quite slow but once the bud growth established it really went crazy. this is also just over 7 weeks into flowering and into its flushing stage. Then we have a mostly blueberry cross from some blueberry bud also. Fast grower was ready for flowering from a seed in 20 days. XX female genes i think its been stressed too much and its still a lush female. 6 weeks into flowering. Lastly we have a unknown hybrid from a friend, it had been severely mistreat when it came to us but its back in healthy shape and starting to flower. 3-4 Weeks into flowering. Questions, suggestions, advice all welcome, post. pictures soon. peace. |

Looking really good!
Maybe a little epsom salts in the next watering might help, see the ever so slightly burnt leaf tips? TBH though they're coming along great, not long to go now for the JH and GF BB? Which one do you like the smell of the most? Is it a bit of a pain running plants at different stages so you have to mix the nutes separately? Jack Herer was the first plant I ever grew- that was an awesome cut, heady soaring high with an indica stone on top. And an idiot could grow it. Edit- is there a way to downsize the pics a little?

Looking good other than what FG stated.
Nice selection, you should have some tasty bud to smoke with that mix of genetics. Jack is one I have wanted to try for years and haven't gotten there yet.

Well the grapefruit hybrid has 25% blueberry i think, smells mostly of grapefruit with a slight blueberry punch
Crystal and resin production are far far too good to be grapefruit, thats why i assume the blueberry genetics are showing, The buds are 3x more crystally then any pure grapefruit I've seen. the leafs are very dark blue bordering on black. also this plant has the typical blueberry genetic flaw on the leafs the same as the mostly blueberry hybrid. Buds are like rocks from the grapefruit genetics and sticky as toffee from the blueberry genetic code. Grapefruit is mostly sativa but this plant seems mostly indica. High calyx to leaf ratio. 4-5 days left. ![]() The Jack Herrer plant has been around for time. it was first a window plant sitting on the window for a long period before being put under a fluorescent room then changed light to HPS. Looked a little unhealthy since it was first sprouted i think its bad genetics since it was bred from clones. With the age of the plant it is a stature, standing over 6 ft in its pot. over 1.5ft wide. Smells very nice, buds aren't too dense though. High leaf to calyx ratio. 10 - 14 days left. The mostly Blueberry hybrid is my favourite of all of them. Fastest growing plant I have ever seen, you can practically watch it grow. This plant is also the experiment of pruning and has four top colas as well as four secondary branches lower to them. put into flowering at 20 days from seed, started showing female around 14 days after that. XX female genes, seems to be immune to hermaphrodite disorder. High calyx to leaf ratio, smell is minimal as of yet, high crystal production. 10 - 14 days left. The unknown hybrid, personally I think it might be Blue Cheese or Blue Cheese hybrid. Mistreat upbringing but now its looking healthy, bred from clones the same as the jack plant, possible 50 / 50 blue cheese and grapefruit. More crystal productions than any other of the plants at that stage. 3-4 weeks in flowering and has buds and crystals forming. Medium leaf to calyx ratio, earthy sweet smell, dense buds. Unknown duration left. @Farmergiles Thanks for the advice bro', i'll try epsoms. The grapefruit smells the most, smells like tropical bud with a side of blueberry. @Dandaweedman Jack is one of my all time favourite strains, this strain kicks off a powerful odour once properly cured and dried. the smell can be compared with the strong smell of blueberry but with different scents aswell. Peace out

I hope the times left are whats on the packaging and not the real ones
![]() Seems to me they all have a fair piece to go yet and if you harvest when you say you are going to you will miss some yield. Or the pictures are making them look more immature than they are?

I've learned over time that the timings the breeder states are 75% of the time wishful thinking, 5% of the time spot on and 30% of the time are guesstimates based on what path the solar flares are taking

Yes the grapefruit got topped in vegetative growth and the blueberry got topped twice so it has four top colas and four branches on the same main branches.
With grapefruit i think it effectively split the top cola from 3 oz to 1.5 each. The blueberry is good genetics for topping being a bushy plant. peace. |
