Unhappy Why are they flowering?

This is my first grow and things have been going well untill my girls started growing pistils with there 2 little hairs.
Thing is the light is on 24/7 and its only been 6 weeks.
The History,
White widow females from Seedsman seed bank.
The 2 that are flowering have been in 6 weeks, the 2 that ain't have been in 4 weeks.
Soil: 40% Miracle Grow (I've heard this is not great but I live in a tiny Mountian town with 1 poorly stocked garden centre), 40% compost, 10%perlite, 10% vermiculite. Ph at 7.
250w HPS, 2 40w fluorescent
Fan
Constant 75 degrees at soil level.
Grow chamber is a 3' by 2' waredrobe painted white

Once I noticed the pistils (half a dozen on the main stem) I Changed them over to a 12/12 light regime.
Any ideas why they done that (I didn't order autoflowering) and do you think it's too soon for 12/12.
Here's some pics

Looks like they're just showing sex to me. It happens about a month in if everything else is going right. Be glad, I don't see any males. Likely because you have Fem widow, but yeah. They look happy, let em get a bit bigger before flowering though.

You will get pistils when it shows sex. Nothing to worry about unless it keeps going and starts to bud up.
Then look for stresses in the enviroment first.

They are doing pretty good but will need some epsom salts in the next short while.
Specially the one in the lower right of the picture.

1 tsp of epsom in a small bit of hot water then after it disolves add it to a gallon of water for the next feeding.

Congrats on the first grow. It'll be a slightly stress filled grow I am sure but you'll do fine, they look nice and bushy now.

If you're going to flower with the 250, you might want to leave them in the 12/12 lite cycle. 4 plants under a 250 after stretch will be a bit much. There is only so much canopy a 250 will cover and then there is the penetration thing.

^ You get around 1 foot of useful light from a 250 starting around 5" away from the bulb. So yes I agree.

So your saying leave them on the 12/12 as of now.
I'm away from home now for a few days so wont be back till tomorrow.
Will the little one be ok with the 12/12 now?
Only have 5 1/2 foot to play with.
Think I'll go Indica next time

You could take her out and put her in a window for 4 hours to keep her in Veg a little longer. Ideally she should show pre flower before going 12/12.

5 1/2 foot should be fine, just keep from moving the lights up without need
I myself don't like to move them into and out of flower but lots do, the call is yours.
2 1/2 x stretch would sound right for white widow. If it was 100% sativa you would have issues.
