A couple practice runs before the expensive seeds is a great idea. Better to screw up bag seed than stuff ya paid for. Beside, the bag seed will be better from you having grown it.

That's a total of 11500 total lumens. A 400 watt HPS, by comparison, has over 50,000 lumens and has a lite spectrum better than the fluoros for flowering. It's not to say your bud doesn't look good, it's just they would look better with better lighting as the Oldman pointed out.

It's true an HPS or MH would throw a lot more lumens, and heat.
People have been using floros for longer than HID and they still grow some good weed

Wasps as like insects/bees??? I dont think they would hurt the plants, I know they can eat lice and other bugs on the plants. Hopefully they dont have a nest inside somewhere, if you must get rid of them remove your plants before you try anything.
You can technically veg as long as you want, depends how big you want them. I think you should be seeing trichomes by now though, 7 weeks into flower. Are you sure? *I used to be more knowledgeable about growing but over the years i have forgotten a lot of it. Dan, Jenna, & the farmer plus others are alot more knowledgeable than I

You don't forget it, it just hides.
You may not see trichs. That's just show boating by the plant. And since you say Sativa there's a good chance they are just tiny now that the plant is older. I'm not saying you won't get sativa that look like they have been out in the snow, but it will be rarer than an Indica from what I've seen. Cheap 30-100x magnifier will show you what you want to see. 5-6 weeks veg is a decent stretch, where the heck are the pics?
