8 finger leaf

well my baby is in the ground for 2 weeks. she's (I hope she's a she) had the first teir leaves with 3 fingers, the second teir with 5 fingers and the third teir with 7 fingers EXCEPT one of them has got 8 fingers, seems like the middle leaf grew twice. not something critical but interesting. I have only ever seen leaves with 3, 5, 7, or 9 leaves (I am reffering to the shape of the leaf).

advice?

ya plants can get there genes all fucked up and still do fine. like extra chromosomes and shit and it doesnt matter.

Yeah it's fine.

You might find that later leaf growth reverts to odd numbers of fingers. Or not.

It's not unusual to see some minor oddities in the way a plant grows, especially from seed. Such traits are usually hereditary though mutations do occur occasionally.

not worried, just never saw an 8 fingered leaf before, a bit like a 4 leaf clover.

Every now and again I get plants with three sets of leaves instead of two sets.

saw a snake with 2 heads once and a baby chick with 4 legs, so why not a plant with 3 sets of leaves.
