New Spider in the house...

I found what looks to be a Latrodectus geometricus - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia in the garden about a week ago. Today was the first time I got a quality look at it's belly & sure enough, there is a light yellowish marking.



It seems to be sticking to the same part of the room. Think I'll leave this one alone, for now.

Very cool. Are they effective against the pests you have to deal with? Otherwise maybe catch it and put it outside.

personally i'd put it outside, lol. but didnt you say you found it in the garden?

wait...indoor gardening? mmmm

interesting they say its venom is at least as strong as the black widow;s, but for some reason doesn't deliver such a bad bite
