Howzit! (question)

Hey all, I used to post here as pakabraddah, then as ExtraNormal, and now I'm abraxas. Probably no one remembers me, I think I posted more pics of snakes and monkeys than of plants.

But anyway I gave a friend a bunch of old seeds from my fridge. His first planting he got five out of thirty, so he went a second go with forty pots, two in each pot. Lo and behold, most of them sprouted this time, so he ended up with lots of little pots that look like the pics shown here. He's asking what to do.

Should he
a) cull the weaker of the two
b) try to separate them while their roots are still small
c) let them both grow
or d) something we haven't thought of.

Thanks for any ideas, it's nice to pop back in here, been a while!

That's weird, there were a few replies here but now they're gone. Well, we decided to go half and half, since transplanting them was pretty delicate and maybe risky.
