I find molasses used in late flower changes the flavour somewhat.

Good to know, what I was planning on doing anyway was the last week or so of flowering just feed her clean, fresh H2O.

Thanks,

I have actually ran a test when I did some earlier grows. I had those DWC hydrobuckets they all had ther own res..So I did a few dosed with molasses and not any in any others and the diffrence was noticable in over all bud size and weight. I would say they where overall 20-25% bigger diffence not a huge diffrence but there definitely a diffrance.

I've wondered if it's ok to use with other enhancers, like canna boost, or is it one or the other?

Hey everyone,

So I started feeding this girl some Molasses and it changes the pH level dramatically which I didn't know. Any who, I didn't give her any attention as far as her pH levels and it was down to 4 and she looks a mess. I have the pH level back to normal however can anyone tell me if I should just harvest or let her recoup?

Thanks,

The absolute best bud booster i've found is fishtank water from a mature fresh water tank.
The micro nutrients are present in huge amounts as well as a ph balanced nutrient blend.
My buddy uses it regularly and produces pineapple size buds to every one else's hand grenade size buds.

Darn. Hydro culture is unforgiving like that.

It's a little difficult to tell how ready she is from the lighting in that pic.

Do you know what the EC was with the molasses? You might have over done that as well having low pH. How much did you add?

What happened exactly with the pH, did the pH drop immediately?- I wouldn't expect the molasses to lower the pH that much unless it fermented or something.

This is exactly what I did. I changed out the water, added soul bloom & molassas according to the directions 1 TSP per gallon of water for both. I adjusted the pH to exacly 5.8, forgot to check the pH 1 day and the next morning this is what I found. I will know when I get home today and see what she looks like now and send some cleaner PIC's.

Hopefully when I get home she is recoup'ing.

Thanks,

Bear in mind if you add molasses you are adding more solids to the solution upping the total dissolved solids. If you combine this with a change in pH this makes it difficult for the plant to uptake a lot of nutrients, and difficult to take up water.

So 1 tsp per gallon would depend on your regimen of nutes..

But to be honest I'm surprised they've taken such a slapping.

Hydro is unforgiving, if the nutes go out of whack either EC or pH the plant suffers directly.

Guys/Gals,

Here she is, I don't think she's gonna make it, so I am guessing I should just harvest. Please advise.

Thanks,

Well, she's been harvested, why? cause I went to go change her water and she was dry as fu*k, her stems were "snap, crack & pop'in", so I said to my self "ef" it!, she was a bag seed it was a good run, now I am going to start my real grow with my W.W. & NYPD, in my new real grow spot. It was a great run, but just like every story, this has come to an end. Thank you all for you help and advise, now going to start a new grow!

If you guys want me to start a new thread with new pics let me know!

Thank you all,

Jester4Yall,

I wish I could send samples, I would send to all honestly, but our laws suck so I can't do nothing about it. If I were to ever become a billionaire (YOU NEVER KNOW) I would honestly spend all my money trying to legalize MJ.

Thanks,

I'd give her straight water for a day or two then chop her maybe- just to flush out some nutes.
Apart from that, she's just about ready anyway I think.
Keep an eye out for mould or anything, she's just about dead on her feet.

Yea, I guess, I had it nothing to compare to, but still not bad, in my new flowering room I am going to be running a 600W HPS with only 4 plants, which should be more than enough lumens for 4 plants. I will start a new thread with my new grow so everyone can see. I really want to automate this process as much as possible, and I was thinking about getting the growtronix system but I don't want to spend my money on something that's garbage and there aren't any real reviews out there. Anyway, I don't want to rush my flowering room, need to take my time and think about this design and how everything is going to work.

Thanks,

Sup everyone,

Thought I'd show you guys how much I got out of this plant. See the picture below, there was just a bit more but I smoked it and just in time, I got some weed from someone that wasn't helping me with my insomnia however my home grown baby did the trick.

She has a fruity/sour/pine scent, I have no idea what she is but she is doing the trick for me.

I didn't have anything to measure the weight so I thought I would visually show you guys.

Thanks,
Learning247
