have to go for a few days, worried about my garden

hi guys,

as I said in a pevious post, I have a small hydro setup, though it run on timers and up to now I´ve only had a PH problem that I solved (thanks for your help BTW) I am afraid because I will have to leave for a few days next week.

though what I do weekly is top the reservoir with water, nutrients and check PH (under control now) I am a bit scared,

I was thinking of topping the reservoir and place the light high up. I think things will be ok, but still....

the plants are in the ninth day of flowering and growing strong, and that´s my concern, do you think the plants could grow 20 inches in 5-6 days?

It is maybe possible that some plants could grow 20 inches in six days, in early flowering when they are stretching- if all other factors were optimised and the plants were in big pots.

In most situations 10" in 6 days would be pretty phenomenal.
Some plants hardly stretch at all during flowering.

It is bad if the plants do grow into a light unattended as they can catch fire.

Could you set up some sort of wire mesh screen 12" below the light or something just in case?

BTW, what was the outcome of the pH issues Wirikuta? You say you have that sorted now.

thanks, I´ll try to protect the plants from the light.

the PH issue was solved by using a chemical for pools after I changed all the water, I was using lemon, but read in several places that ascorbic acid was short lived, which made sense, because after the application of lemon the PH came down to normal, but for a few hours only, so I got this thing for pools and it brings it down and keeps it down.

thanks man.
