Cannabis Plant Sex Examples

Almost a week doesn't pass without the age old "what sex is this plant question".

Maybe this will help.

Incidentally, no pics of an immature male as I'm yet to see one with new cam.

Anyone with an example with good image quality feel free to post else y'all just have to wait

This is not long after pollenation but you can already see the seed pods developing.

The thread helped with knowing a male after it has formed the pods.

But I sort of want to know before the pods form, as to keep it 100% sensi (or as close as possible).

Is there any way to tell from the leaves or stems or anything?
How long after the seeds are germinated do they show their sex??

And also a side question. I hear if you do certain things to a male plant you can smoke it. Something about soaking in water?? I dunno. Ive just heard instead of throwing the plants away you can tweak them, smoke em, and get high off em. But who knows? Could be a suburban legend.

@Teen - The tenth, eleventh and twelth pictures cover male PRE flowers (ie the beginning of the flower formation BEFORE the full "pods" are formed). There is NO way to tell before the arrival of preflowers (unless you're using femmed seed stock and even then, well, who knows eh!).

There are fuck loads of urban mysths about it though. All are bollocks.

As to smoking males, they do contain small amounts of THC but really not enough to make smoking the plant material itself. You can make hash from them, but again, it's really not worth it.

Find somewhere amusing and anonymous to dump them.

Yeah this a good thread to look at. But out of my brothers 25 plants I only found 4 males. Either he's really lucky or the rest haven't showed there sex yet.
