yeah i'd been growing cuttings for a while, got some assorted seeds going now, i kind of forgot how much fun it is nurturing little healthy seedlings, they gro quick too

@kosh - cheers man. Not sure what is going on with my images right now, having all sorts of problems with tone and the such like, that pic looks fine at source! Weird!

@Phat - They do that, these are not hugely vigorous but certainly solid hybrid growth. Pretty stable too.

@Fred - Thanks man.

They're still pretty young, when that photo was taken they were 12 days old (12 days from seed being dropped into the ground that is).

-- Under - Still sitting clustered under some fluo's until there is some room elsewhere.

-- How far - As close as I can get them, couple of inches, they're plenty formed, they could be under HID (15") if there were space.

-- In un fertilised John Innes soil with a 40% vermiculite (mostly grain form as I ran out of rock) and a 10% worm cast mix.

-- Red pots.

Incidentally in honour of your new babies I've germed a few more myself.

Running low on space so excuse the location of these!

Anyway people, I'm impressed, 10 quid beans and four of four pop in 48 hours, I popped in to see them this morning and two were clear of the soil and beginning to open and I was lucky enough to catch the other two just emerging from the dirt.

@three - I assume you mean the bud rather than the plants.

We call it Ginger Beard for more than obvious reasons, it's a local strain rather than a seedbank strain so I have no clue to it's ancestry. An OK smoke, potent but definately one for an evening of comfort rather than an evening of thought or activity. Taste isn't fully cured in yet, you get hits from the joint that are beautiful spicey skunk flavours and the next is a dull edged version of the same taste, the wait continues.
