Hi there everyone

This is my first year of growing too. I am currently growing 5 varieties:

1. Mixed Sativa (Nirvana)
2. African Seeds (Durban Poison)
3. White Russian
4. Flying Dutchman (Thai tanic)
5. Dutch Seeds (TNR)

It has been a total delight so far and the seedlings are 6 weeks old. I started with 25 seeds (5 each) but ended up with 18 so far. But i do have all the varieties still going.

However i am keeping my fingers crossed on the male/female ratio, any thoughts on what usually is the case?

Also, they have been transplanted to another area recently, as i have a lot of wild marijuanna around my house. So far the buds haven't showed up.

My question in addition to the one above is: will the pollen from the wild male marijuanna still be on the seedlings despite the fact the buds aren't there? The new site does not have any wild marijuanna around.

I will be looking more males/females in the seedlings but presumably you can't tell until 8 weeks.

ill be growing soon too, whats ur grow box like? is it astealth or are u outdoors, also try to get pics up, hope u get some healthy females going by the way

oo i didnt see?, no u have nothing to worry about they pollen wont be a factor, just make sure there are no males at new spot, and you will be fine

mine is outdoors, no need for the sleath mode here in paksitan, we have too much of hash/charas stuff and i miss the good old skunk and weed.

the seedlings have been taken to the mountains where the climate is not hot as on the plains.

i may turn some buds into seeds though for the next crop. they didn't come cheap i can tell you that!

you probably have some wicked strains in that part of the world. Post some pics of the wild growing ganja when u get a chance.

im pretty sure, that is like some 3rd strain, i forgot the name its like melaneto, or something with a m, it doesnt have any buds, or if it does u dont dont contain any THC, really its just annoying weed that growsin the grass

To answer your question re: pollen, it shouldn't stay viable that long but if you are worried give them a decent soaking of water, that will kill off any that is hanging around.

thanks! its good to know that there are like minded people around. will keep you all posted on the plants.

they are safe and away from the wild marijuana. we have had a lot rain so any pollen would have been washed away by now.

check out the seedlings when they were 4 weeks old

As I know in Pakistan most of the time they grow out door.What are the other varieties that you grow around your area.I would like to know the tips that you follow.
