wow, i never thought of "reverse hemaphrodism" before.....

.....well a female plant can develop male flowers from lots of reasons....genetic makeup of the strain, stress factors, gybrillic acid if you're trying to make femmed seeds, and probably a host of other reasons we dont even know about.......

hermaphroditing a male plant to have female parts i never even heard of, so can't thoroughly answer that.....but its something im now very curious about.

Yes male cannabis plants can show intersex traits- just like female ones but the other way round.

Whether they are clones or not shouldn't make any difference.
Stress is usually the cause of hermaphrodism, some genetics are much more susceptible than others.

I'm only 7 yrs late lol.

I don't think it would be an effective way of growing bud by any means though.

Reversing male plants is used as a breeding technique- say you have a male plant and you want to know what kind of bud it would produce if it was female.
Treat it with colloidal silver or stress it to hell by messing with the light schedule. When it grows a few small buds, harvest them and check them out.
In ganja, the males are more mysterious.

Or you could cross 2 male plants (for whatever reason).

Or if you have a valuable unique cut which is male you could self it to make S1 seeds. Most of the seeds would be masculinised I think (I've never done this myself).
