I know I sent you this but i thought a thread would be better as it makes it easier to discuss.

Buz and kosh,

Hey guys.

First up, the new Yahooka looks nice eh.

To the issue at hand. I see the use of splitting GTGH into a couple of sub forums, one for grow diaries and one for grow questions. Easy to implement, easy to admin and to be honest makes forum housekeeping easier too in that we have a reference section.

As for how a grower can describe their room/current rig/starins etc. That could be added into the user profile....

For example here I have just added a grow spot question (which if you go edit your profile, you'll see is a check box) but translates to text; and a short space for strain spec.

As to the extra section for a strain guide/breeders reports etc I think it's good in principle but i wonder if we have the growers to fill it to be frank.

I would foresee it as there being a standard downloadable template (in a thread), that is downloaded, completed and attached to the same or another sticky thread in one of the previously mentioned sub forums or a seperate one. These contributions can then be added into a growfaq esque area using the FAQ manager to manage the navigation.

Phew. I'm not sure I even understand that but I know what I mean so ask if you want be to try again!

We can build a demo set behind Mod For to play with layouts etc.

The thing would be the template, designing that in a format that is easy to use, fill out and attach, but also easy for us to then post.

Another slight concern is running before we can walk, I have been trying to get people to contribute to the faq but there has been fuck all take up so I'm struggling still to get that moved over to the nice text version...

I only understood the first half of that post, but what I can gather it sounds like a good idea. I'd still fancy having 'the chronic colloquial' as a forum name, heh. Possibly for the Questions one?

I wanna play too.'ve checked a couple of other sites that either have, or have had their self's organized enough to maintain quite a nice grower report section/forum. growkind.com has it says 596 live gardens. I didn't count them.

.overgrow also has some nice grow reports. but it's becoming chaotic at OG lately, from what I hear. I go there, but not for long enough to become a target.klozitking has grow reports also, but they're not the neatest.marijuana.co m has grow journal's, they're less organized than klozitking.reeferman 's has a nice grow report forum.a little disorganized, but the growers and folk's there are very informative..
the idea is tere's lots of layouts for grow reports, and with a little arranging and shuffling, it should be a great addition to the forums.

this would make it easier for growers and keep the new ones from asking so many questions over and over..

My friend from GC that has joined, is very educated in the growing... He may can also have some ideas and help us..

Lay out....

=Advance growing=.. For those who grow hydro, and high tech growing..

=Beginners grow guide=. for those who need to know how to start and and simple growing.

=outdoor growers=.. for those who prefer to grow outside or inside is out of the question.

Maybe even like i grow.
= green house growing= for those who grow indoors on the outside..

This should keep the bginners from asking to many questions to the experienced growers..

With the right guide lines for each or FAQ's it will make learning to grow a little more simple..

Hows this for a growing format?
