I know it is a contentious issue and quality and area are incredibly important,as are quantities BUT we can make a rough guide.

Please state:

Grade: [scwag/mid/kind]
Locality: [state or city or country/area of for non US citizens]
Price per weight: gram/eighth/ounce

I'm not looking for the best prices just an average of what the final retail price is in your area.

I'll start for averages for England:

Grade: Soap bar and imported low grade hash
Locality: England
Price per weight: £10 an eighth £40 an ounce

Grade: imported high grade hash
Locality: England
Price per weight: £20 an eighth £120 an ounce

Grade: kind
Locality: England
Price per weight: £20 an eighth £120 an ounce

In Mass...
Mids (seedless most of the time, nothing special) go for ~$20 an 1/8th, $160 ounce
Kind bud goes for ~$40 an 1/8th...never bought any more than that

aa-aaa:
10$ = 1gram
25-30$ = 3.5-4.0 grams
45-50$ = 7-8 grams
60-100$ = 14-18 grams (it really varies here because of the bud quality and the amount you expect to get)
120-275$ = 28-30 grams (also the price varies here quite a bit because of quality)

Kind Bud/Strains - $20/gram, $50/eigth, $90/quarter, $175/half, $300-$400/ounce

Mid-Grade - $60/half ounce, $115/ounce, $400/QP, $750/half pound, $1300/pound

Schwag - $70/ounce, $200/QP, $600/pound

I like this idea. High Times does it monthly, but who knows how old those prices are when they actually get printed, this seems like a more current pricing system.

^ I don't buy my own. Haven't for many years but that appears to be the average price for ropey across the UK (the south at least) if buying in eighths.

As mentioned in the initial post, this is a thread to compile average prices, not to compete over connects. If you want to do that I pay my leccy bill and service the GR, i reckon it amounts to substantially under a tenner an oz, for kind. I MUST be mad.

That's the point of the thread.

Incidentally I would agree at the £15 a daughter but maybe I've only met lazy dealers/punters and lazy dealers/punters don't do coins, so the split become 10!!

When I was younger we used to get 10 draws of weed all the time, it's nice that pot is inflation free appears inflation free, though the increase in home culivation has no doubt helped keep prices down (of bud directly, more supply and of soap because there is less demand and more people will say nah, i want something less crap please!).

Price per weight: $20 8th, $30-35 5th, anymore than that I'm not sure most I've bought was a quarter...I used to have a hookup for $250 1/2 lb but I guess he moved...havn't heard of him in months.

Grade: Chronic
$15-20 gram (if I buy 2 gs my friend hooks it up for $30

) $50 8th, $90-100 quarter, $150 1/2 ounce, $280-300+ an ounce.

Grade: Purple (most people I know call it 'purp', but it's just the equivalent of kush, and sold as kush alot)
$25-30 gram, $75 an 8th, I have no idea after that. I'd say $450 for an ounce probabbly

All local to simi valley...

Stress/schwag/mexican brick: 1/4 oz. for $20, 1/2 oz. for $35, oz. for $60

Mids/low grade kind: 1 gram for $10, Eights for $35, Oz. can be anywhere between $120-170

standard kind bud: 1 gram for $15, eighths anywhere between $40-50, half ounces for $150, maybe a little less if you know the right people and an Oz. for no more than $250.

Kush: 1 gram for $20-25, eighths for $60-75...
