well it won't help me even if it does pass, i go to college in Missouri and i'm not a medical patient of any sort
but that is badass nonetheless, it'd make me happy enough to see people smoking up and knowing that the government/police can't do anything about it even if they wanted to

it's not going to help me either but it's still great to see that we have people within the illinois government that a fighting for the cause. it's not really about helping people like you or I. think about the cancer patients and others than could really use it!

this is just a stepping stone! if we get medical MJ approved in IL ,even for a small list of illnesses then eventually the list could grow! and maby at that point it will help you!

it's just awesome that we have a chance of becoming a medical state seeing as how Illinois is very strict about marijuana in general and most other things!

Update for concerned parties. Illinois General Assembly - Bill Status for SB1381

According to this it's on its third reading. Not really sure what that means, I'd assume the 3rd revision. From what I read, this bill would open marijuana up to medical prescription and research. I've seen that it has been receiving coverage on the local news, but i havent actually heard their reports. I guess only time will tell, but I would think that it would probably be coming up for a vote soon.
