The guy hasn't been in the White House just over six weeks and they're already making movies about his agenda and "deception". I think Obama was VERY clear with his agenda to the American people and we made it loud and clear its what this country needs at this crucial time in our history. So far he is doing what he said he would do for the most part (earmarks not included - so far), many say he is being too ambitious. I say that this country is so used to 8 years of bush habitually on vacation that they forget what a working president can get done (AK Clinton).

my patience for this shit is wearing very thin and i'm finding it harder and harder not to just outright mock people who follow it. according to alex jones, joe biden called for some sort of attack to happen in february, and even went so far to say that obama's reaction to it would be seen as unpopular. hostile raved about it for a while as though it were absolute fact. well, chalk it up with the other failed scare-tactic predictions.

alex jones is a less credible glenn beck. and that's just fucking sad.

i want people to understand where i'm coming from as a person who followed the work of alex jones, jess rense, etc from the 90's up to just a couple years ago.

the problem with these conspiracy "theories" is that they make a pretense of being far-sighted but are in truth incredibly short-sighted. but i don't blame the theorists because they share this fault with the very people making and enacting these agendas. to be clear, i believe there are elite organizations of power-hungry megalomaniacs. i just don't believe that the scope of their plans can manifest in any possible way.

if you want you can take it this way: it's not alex jones' fault that his predictions have not come true. what he predicted to happen may very well have been planned, the problem is that the plans have simply not worked. to me this shows a lack of foresight on the part of these "global elite" as mr jones and others call them, and i feel that the momentum is shifting in a way they can no longer control (or hardly even influence, really) through their tried and true methods. in other words they've built up too much overhead and can no longer keep up, they got caught in their own web, they dug too deep and now it's collapsing on them, etc. the bottom line is that they lost at their own game; not because of bad strategy but because the game has changed to no longer support their strategy.

that's just a belief i've come to by monitoring the goings-on of our world. the very basis of their scheme in the past century -- war for profit -- can no longer serve them in a world that is increasingly seeing war as the problem rather than the solution. oh sure, they've tried. iran, n. korea, venezuela. . . hell they'll keep trying but it'll yield nothing as usual. mark my words: iraq was the last-stitch effort, the final bastion of their scheme. . . and that whole deal can hardly be said to have gone over at all according to plan. they already failed whether they realize it or not.

When they're wrong...it's sort of irrelevant and just never spoken of again.

I'd love a list of predictions of Alex Jones and company and to see how many have come true and how many have simply failed to materialize at all.

Was waiting for a documentary to pop up like this, didn't think it'd be this quickly but hey I'm not complaining.

Just finished it, was going to wait to do the necessary fact checking and cross referencing, but felt motivated to reply prior to that after seeing the discussion in the thread.

What can I say? Lot of people seem to have an emotional investment in these sort of concepts and ideas. It really brings out that raw, uninhibited emotional expression that seems to have all but been phased out in the mechanical grind of modern society. Lot of emotion for, lot of emotion against, it's good to see.

That's one thing I can respect in Alex Jones. It's refreshing. There are many things that leave a bitter aftertaste throughout my mind after digestion. As far as the most appropriate methodology to apply to these sorts of concepts (government conspiracy, etc) I'd disagree with his approach on numerous fronts. However, I can respect his "passion."

Personally, I don't give a fuck the form of the messenger. A 5 legged chihuahua sporting an eyepatch listening to an Ipod could walk up to me on the street and start telling me what to expect to happen when the LHC starts smashing shit. I'll listen. Later, if I care somewhat about the particular subject (in the LHC case I would), I would go home and start the investigation. It's just information to me, so who made it, Alex Jones, the "Global Elite," George Bush, Jesus Christ, talking chihuahua, is completely irrelevant to me.

With that in mind, this is thought candy for me. It's something to acrobatically wrap my mind around on idle busy days. This particular approach, Obama being strategically placed in his position to advance an overall agenda by a select powerful few that within their collective influence can in some ways manipulate the direction and course of human existence, is a particularly interesting way of looking at things. It's worth entertaining. They offered more material to look into as far as the structure, interaction, and activities of these people. Regardless, they brought to the forefront (the Federal Reserve Bank, it's position in relation to the government, etc) a lot of concepts that SHOULD be in the minds of the people and the people SHOULD be educated about. If this promotes 1 person to hit up google and start looking into what the fuck the Federal Reserve is all about, I personally applaud this documentary.

It's unfortunate that the discussion about this particular film thus far has really been irrelevant to me. I have seen nothing concerning the film and the concepts outlined that really matters a fuck to me. I am Sadness.

Ironically however, one can look at this thread's discussion and find support for the underpinning of psychological manipulation that conditions individuals raised in the mainstream society to look away from the things that truly matter. How Alex Jones of an idea is that?

Ah anyways, I'll be gradually looking into all the shit in the documentary (as it's stuff I'm particularly interested in given the current state of society) and after I've done that I'll post what I've found. (If someone else doesn't do the work quicker and conveniently get it posted here. That'd be nice.)
