so, he was wrong on the jobs it will bring to this town. he was wrong on his decision of marijuana and the economy. but, at least he's more green than the previous administration, and that to me is at least one good thing. and calling the president "obama bin laden" makes you sound like a right-wing nutjob (i know your not, but c'mon.. it was the crazy side of the GOP's pet name for him).

although, LOL! @ "clean coal".

lol I actually always found that name amusing. But I agree Cantseeme, he's far better than our last president and our other option. And plus, not everyone's perfect.

Um, the question was 'would marijuana legalization help grow our economy.' Not 'would the manufacturing of industrial grade hemp as an alternative fuel source help grow our economy.'

I'm stoked that Obama is bringing this ideas into not only the mainstream, but eventually into fruition.

It's about steps...f'in relax. 8 years of sitting on our asses with 'dubya' and now we want it all completely different 90 days later...

This sounds like nit-picking to me. Marijuana as a drug can help create jobs, or at least create healthier competition/a healthier society, and industrial hemp is a lot more useful than just as an energy source.

Let people be critical of the president. Its their job.

No one can take that away from me. Not even that dangerous marijuana.

I just found it very saddening that the prez was in a town in Iowa that could very well benefit from the relegalization of hemp and cannabis for all purposes. If the dumbass would do that now in his first year in office, where will we be in 2012?? I think we would have our economy restored big time.
