Typically nut cases with delusions of grandeur are treated this way when they begin to actualize their delusions...ie; making/implying threats to persons...more importantly to elected officials or the all powerful and controling corporations.

Sounds like a smart person who just wasn't quite smart enough.
In America you'd have little to no recoarse. In France less than that.

my friend was simply walking down the sidewalk with a flower in his/her hair

it happened soon after he turned in gov't class essays to his/her college, if that means anything

he expressed that he wanted to live and that he was peaceful toward others, there was no need for the fascist cops to even talk to him/her, my friend was just walking down the sidewalk

this action by yahooka(or a particular moderator or admin w/e) is pure denial of the 1st amendment to freedom of speech and is censorship...on yahooka

what is nuts about walking down the sidewalk in an affluent and "safe" neighborhood looking for a park to sit and read the novel Persuasion by Jane Austen, dressed like a "upper middle class person" but with hippie style with a flower in your hair...why was my friend who only expressed peace strapped (all limbs) to a "bed" for HOURS???????? My friend asked the po po to let him/her go home, asked to call his/her mother, was handcuffed for committing no crime! BTW his wrists were fine as in no cuts - that might matter if it was but it wasn't! Bring back my threead please!

My friend was just a groovy person that was an anti-war activist that also supported hemp fuel...expressed these ideas in gov't class. The professor once called him/her the "voice of reason" in the class...sounds like he/her is a phychologically sound dude/dudette

"I was walking down a sidewalk in an affluent neighborhood, without pot mind you, with a iPhone and the novel Persuasion by Jane Austen looking for a park to sit down and read and text and such, and i was detained by police that abused me and then sent to a hospital and strapped down (all my limbs) to a "bed" for HOURS]. Eventually a cop came and "made" me "voluntarily" sign in to the "mental hospital" there. I was "disappeared" for about 6-7 weeks and given torturous drugs, shots of haldol twice and thorazine twice against my will(i didn't fight but voiced my desires very clearly), other drugs too. This happened spring break soon after I turned in my 10 college gov't current issues(total of 17 pages), all of which had hippie facets and a general "peace and love and harmony" motto." The courts during this ordeal were kangaroo courts. The psych doc at the state hospital(went to 3 different "hospitals") tried to get me to say that saying that I (poetically) "lived with mother earth" to the po po was "innapropriate". Why in all heaven did police stop to "talk" to me? Well I did look a bit like I was living in 1967, having a flower in my hair and such. I looked like innate liberty walking along the sidewalk to them(the po po) and they well...its sad. I've been home for 2 days and "have" to see some psych doc so that I will continue to be "medded up", essentially stripped of my own lovely emotions and desires to help the world. Haldol(thorazine is worse) was used in soviet union gulags to "silence" social and political" activists, often very enlightened and spiritual people with valuable hearts, just like me!!! For calling Ron Paul the doc ordered that i was phone restricted to only call my family, my attorney(of no use and who i never found out who he/she was), and luckily Advocacy Inc. At one time a nurse "warned me" that I would be staying for at least 7 months for writing Time magazine and US News and World Report...if the psych "doc" found out. I am home now, with heaven's grace. Pease help me and the people("patients") I met, we are very wonderful folk with lovely countenances when sober, high and not abused. Somehow I "beat" the system b/c of an old psych doc a while back told me so I knew which drug to ask for that had the least side effects and retained a high level of awareness so i could speak with love and serenity during the sessions with the quack(appear sane b/c i am!...i couldn't be tricked somehow, probly cuz of how much I prayed and expressed myself on mediums)...one kid about 20 years old looked "zombiefied"...I helped him write letters to his sister and brother and love the kid. I'm only a "20something" yo college student. HELP"

Please help my friend to get to a safer state or country and free of their pernicious drugs, please!

we need activism for the einlightnenment of the field that has the most miopic minds, that is of psych docs(well maybe behind the military)...and they affect the legalization of mary jane i promise...my friend lived it ok

all psych drugs are either easily replaced by natural stuff including shrooms and mary jane or even melatonin and 5-htp, and some are quite pernicious and negatively affect your emotions, "feeling of liberty" and aura...try to astral travel while taking risperdal...

when my friend one time said that he would rather seek spiritual joy than take another med, a "anti-depressant"(why not a mood enhancer), the doc make the most rediculuos face, like you could see anger in his mien, its pretty sad...this guy was a private one too

also, of the especially pernicious ones(psych drugs), mary jane like cures all the nedative efffects...very pertinent to this forum, a discussion of such a topic that could lead to a more fantastic and oeneric life if we free people who literally have their natural lovliness suppressed b/c quacks think they are different or too unique, when in all actuality thier heart beats very in tune withe the heartbeat of life ok dudes and dudettes.

I made a "promise" to george harrison after watching his memorial concert...i looked up in the sky and said "i believe hippyland is coming back and the dream will be fulfilled, i will do what i can to help!"
...so we need no military first and then next no psych indusrty and then government...how do we achieve this "utopia"? sing love songs, promise!

This is true. And it is the flip side of prohibition. What I see is the government forcing the poor to take METHADONE, just for instance, for pain because cannabis is prohibited in emergency, transitional, and subsidized housing. Here in Santa Cruz, no subsidized housing has been approved or built in over 5 years that does not ban smoking in your apartment. And they all will throw you out in the street over cannabis. They all have zero-tolerance clauses attached to the grants.

They also force people to take drugs, such as mentioned here, as well as electroshock therapy. Marijuana anti-prohibition is getting a lot of its steam from the torrent of outrage over the ruined lives, deaths, and suicides, these so-called miracle drugs are causing. Pharmaceuticals, as prescribed, are the fourth leading cause of death in this country.

If Gwen had not been a pharma Rep and firstly known what was happening to her, and secondly been able to STAY OUT OF THE PSYCH WARD, she would probably be drooling and twitching now and unable to put together a coherent sentence.

That is the stark reality.

This may seem like disjointed rambling, but it isn't. It's just that I understand some here don't have the patience to read all the words it would take me to explain how it's all connected, and how it's all integral to marijuana, prohibition, and medical marijuana.

Well, if people in the marijuana anti-prohibition movement would inform themselves about the issue of involuntary drugging and SSRIs, instead of bullying and demeaning and ridiculing people such as myself that actually know something about it - marijuana would be legal today. Already.

But, for the good of the movement, I guess it's best we just sit down and shut up, according to at least one person here...but I suspect several. Instead, the movement shall be lead by hucksters bashing patients and selling fake bud and salvia divinorum, and anything else they can get by with.

Personally I use and endorse marijuana and I`m well aware of the possible bad effects of SSRI`s and the other shitty pharmaceuticals that get prescribed to psyche patients.

But Mclennison, I`m afraid you come across as a complete nut job acid casualty. No offense but your posts seem disordered and hysterical. I`m not trying to be a twat, I`m just trying to explain the reaction you must get from a lot of people.

I don`t think giving psyche patients mushrooms will help at all and marijuana might be harmful in some cases.

Like David Ike makes some good points but then he starts going on about lizards.
