The plight of Gordon Brown
Poor Gordie. Everyone's resigning from his cabinet. Seems like he won't last a month as PM.
The question I have for our British Yahookans is: Why? Wasn't he the guy everyone wanted? Wasn't he supposed to come in and save the day after Tony? How many years were people calling on Blair to resign so Brown could come in and fix things? Probably just 1-2, but it seemed longer than that. So seriously: what went wrong?

I think we wanted Blair to resign because he was an evil prick; I don't recall expecting Brown to be any better. Worthless Scottish Cyclops...
Anyway, it's funny to watch as his world collapses, and I hope he's gone soon so I can move on to hating Cameron and the Tories. "Tory", by the way, being a traditional Irish word for "thief". Just thought I'd drop that knowledge on you. The BNP won a seat. Britain is turning. Heads up and eyes forward gentlemen, nationalism is back with a boner.

Everyone wanted rid of Tony because of the gulf war. Labour wanted Gordon to replace him, Gordon has never been popular with the general public.
The uninformed blame Gordon for the economic slump. The informed blame him for the major acceleration of erosion of civil liberties under his leadership.

Yep we're in the shit, and with the Tories pretty much geared to run the place, it's time to take up on that unlimited EU visa and move to Holland.
