we certainly dont need another war. i dont think our own elections are conducted in a free and fair manner. we should focus on our own shit before condemning other nations.

if we're going to involve ourselves in iran, what makes them different than any of the other countries run by dictators and scumbags?

there are plenty of great discussions/debates on yahooka. you just aren't presenting a very compelling arguement, and are basically loosing your arguement imo

Protests Greet Ahmadinejad Win in Iran: 'It's Not Possible!' - TIME
its not like the iranians dont know they were fucked in this election give em some time and they can figure out this stuff by themselves. we dont need to go into every country that rigs their elections guns a blazing. politics is a naturally evolving institution and sometimes all it needs is time.

their government is just sloppy about numbers
why would they say he got a 66% popular vote? why not even it out a bit? why not make it a hairline win for abijibibaba?

theocracy sucks ass,..Irans an interesting country ..although my understanding is the marijuana laws are quite bad and they do not openly worship lesbians which are the two major stumbling blocks towards world peace

The Spectator
I don't pretend to have a sophisticated grasp on the complexities of Iranian politics and society, but it's worth noting that Ahmadinejad had support outside Iran too. To wit, Daniel Pipes: while my heart goes out to the many Iranians who desperately want the vile Ahmadinejad out of power, my head tells me it's best that he remain in office. When Mohammed Khatami was president, his sweet words lulled many people into complacency, even as the nuclear weapons program developed on his watch. If the patterns remain unchanged, better to have a bellicose, apocalyptic, in-your-face Ahmadinejad who scares the world than a sweet- talking Mousavi who again lulls it to sleep, even as thousands of centrifuges whir away. "And there you have it: the holy warriors on both sides need one another." ![]() This is the picture from his website, and it still looks a little 'look into my eyes' master 'evil-doer'. He also appeared on the history channel's Secret Societies, where he dismissed groups playing both sides in a power grab puppet master scenario.

tiny piece of history
On Khomeini's Flight: The Morning Prayers On Newspaper Mats By PAUL LEWIS Special to The New York Times February 2, 1979, Friday Page A7, 381 words TEHERAN, Iran, Feb. 1 As the jumbo jet bearing Iran's exiled Islamic leader home from France approached Teheran early today, Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini and his followers knelt for prayers in the first-class upstairs lounge. On Khomeini's Flight: The Morning Prayers On Newspaper Mats - Free Preview - The New York Times Pittsburgh Post-Gazette - Google News Archive Search about the Iran riots during his holyness exile in France while giving numerous addresses of "Revolution". another manufactured revolution as a foreign entities political weapon I've seen this movie before. It's a rerun.
