Should We Worry about N Korea?

North Korea's communist regime has warned of a nuclear war on the Korean peninsula while vowing to step up its atomic bomb-making program in defiance of new U.N. sanctions.

Source.

Do you think North Korea is threat on the free world? Why or why not?
How do you think North Korea case should be handled?

be all like

"yo n korea, that shit is whack. this is how you do it"

then do it, and the people are all like "dear leader's a bitch, why we trippin?"

and so it will follow for all countries who have institutionalized a system which inhibits collective abundance.

North Korea isn't much of real a threat to the free world, and Kim Jong-Il knows this, thats why hes such a threat. He's out to prove that hes badass when in reality N Korea is still showing off their Katyusha's from WWII. Hes desperate for attention and respect, but he will only get one of these, so hes trying his hardest with the mentality that power=respect (create the biggest bombs, flex some muscle, throw some punches; win respect). He doesn't realize that the power he has will be crushed like a bug by the boot of the US military.

We should wipe the N Korean Gov't off the map immediately.

The US owes China over $2 Trillion. There's no way that they're going to let their loudmouthed little cousin fuck with us, cuz if they do, and we have to go to war, it will be 1) Waaaay too close for comfort for the Chinese, and 2) likely to be paid for with whatever is left of the US currency that they were hoping we'd pay THEM back with.

There's no real problem here. He just knows that thumbing his nose at the biggest dog makes him cool with other retard dictators. Like Amajenanoboriggabada non, or whatever his name is.

How can it be a threat on the free world if the world isn't free?

N.Korea is a free world hater just because they want to have some kind of defense(nuclear) in case daddy USA and his goons decide to corner them and bully them, just like its happening right now? Is that why they are so bad? because they want to test the same nukes that USA has even used in war mercilessly? Or are they just bad because they are still free from USA's grip? Do you hate N.Koreans? Do you know N.Koreans don't hate you either? They hate your government because its full of insensible pricks.

Here is how it works: N.Korea wants to build nukes, just in case, USA notices and says "Oh hey we can't let them do that, we have lots of them and know they work just fine, besides I want to be the only one with nukes, that way I can keep everyone else in check, lets create panic and stomp this bitches", the president gets on tv, "hello fellow citizens, N.Korea's COMMUNIST REGIME is doing this and that and the other thing and their so EVIL, and BAD they hate you and your kids, the COMMUNIST REGIME is building nukes to kill your kids are you going to let them? join the army kill some Koreans before they kill your kids and destroy your country because we bully them, i mean because they hate us so much without reason, join us and go die in the name of the country that just stole your house with a fake crisis. Dumb ignorant citizens join the army, they go kill some koreans, the government pricks make money off of it and fuel the war by showing dead usa soldiers on tv, till the population just forgets about it like we did with osama, who gives a fuck about osama anymore? we could find hussein in a fucking hole in some granny's garden in the middle of a dessert and we can't capture osama who is even appearing on camera again and reuniting with arabic leaders? I've started thinking osama is a scapegoat, a CIA scapegoat. You know, he shows his face around, makes a few threats, something bad happens and even though theres a lot of evidence of foul play osama is hiding and claiming it was all his doing and dumb ignorant citizens believe it cause well, it was on CNN DUH!!!

IMO they have little real power,

but are the most legitimately 'crazy' of the pariah states.

The fact that he can get his hands on, or create his own, nuclear weapons is a reason to feel threatened.

The whole world should feel threatened, if he wanted to launch nukes, he could, and thousands, maybe millions of people would die. Nobody knows who or where, if it was an attack on the US, those of us on the west coast would be the victims. He's already in a pissy mood, so lets not give him the means to kill.

But he is very weak in comparison; the US military could easily turn all of North Korea into a mutant wasteland with one bomb.

I believe the idea is to prevent the loss of civilian life.

You got it, all but the last sentence I purposely neglected to include. (Easy for you to kill innocent women and children, huh?)

Look up Freudian small penis complex and what you will see is a picture of Kim Jong.

I was referring to the korean gov't not the people...

...but since this women and children thing has been brought up by many people; has there ever been a single attack, battle or war, including or not the US, that hasn't had some civilian casualties? To make it seem like the US is out to kill women and children is preposterous, remember that our military is composed of individuals, somewhat "free-thinking" soldiers who know right from wrong. Loss of civilian life is one of the sad, virtually unavoidable effects of war.

... ps I had originally written "North Korea", but changed it to "North Korean Gov't" so people wouldnt get the wrong idea and this wouldn't happen lol sall good tho

Has anyone stopped to consider what particular policies basically catalyzed the events that led up to 9/11?

seoul south korea is in artillary range let alone rockets or missles.

my grandfather was in the korean war..in new guinea. he said the koreans are badass. he said, every moment you spent living you lived in fear.

if north korea was like iraq we would have been in there a long time ago...but we're not. it's cuz their no joke.

saddam wasn't blasting off underground nukes...he denied anything even related to wmd and we still went in. il is blasting off underground nukes and launching missles every couple weeks and has been doing it for years and nobody does a damn thing. why? cuz nk is badass plain and simple.

Funny I thought thats exactly why the rest of the world hates USA, because we have thousands of nukes able to kill millions and we use them to threaten other countries into letting us do as we please in their countries. You know they feel threatened.

umm, what? I don't know of instances where we have used nukes to bully other countries into letting us fuck around in their country, we don't need nukes to do that, we don't need permission when they don't know about it; that's special forces my friend.

I think the idea of actually using nuclear weapons is idiotic, everyone knows what would happen to our planet should a large enough bomb go off - we're all fucked, but some people don't act like they care, that's why they shouldn't have these weapons.

and if you want to take all political correctness aside, then okay, we're the most powerful country in the world allied with a few of the same, who wants to fuck around? Would you give up your position to someone who refuses to hold public elections and blasts giant pictures of themselves all over the place?
