You just don't fathom the fact that hemp could REPLACE OIL!!! We could be making 8 different types of fuel out of hemp. This means that it would take a zero amount of oil to grow hemp. The tractors and trucks would all be powered by hemp seed oil. Get a grip on reality!!!!!!

Even if hemp oil were not used to power our cars, airplanes, etc. It could be used to power desk lamps, and similar things, and most importantly, it can replace paper and we wouldn't have to destroy the Amazon.

Hemp is not marijuana, has no psychotropic properties, yet it is still illegal to farm in the USA. Why? Might it be because of a (zomg!) joint CONSPIRACY on the part of several major industries to keep it out of competition?

When hemp cultivation is outlawed because the government says it's a "drug," when anyone with an IQ of 1 or over can see that it's NOT a drug, one has to ask ones' self what is the real reason behind its criminalization.

Who cares about efficiency?? Hemp WILL REPLACE OIL and take about 80% of the pollution out of the air. We have millions of acres of empty land throughout the world where we could be growing and using hemp for over 50,000 products. We would all be working and our economy would be flourishing instead of the other way around. But I am sure the Saudi Royals need money worse than you and your family do. Dubya sure thought so.

a hectare is 100 acres. this means that an acre only produces about 20 pounds of hemp seeds. oil generally weighs about 7 pounds per gallon. This means that even if all the weight of the hemp seed was oil, which it is obviously not, it would only yield about 3 gallons of fuel per acre, which, in industrial farming, is less than it would take to grow the same amount.

Anyone who says that hemp and marijuana are different plants is just ignorant. They are both cannabis sativa.
