buildings don't pancake easily. #1. The whole argument for why the twin towers pancaked was because jet fuel burned through the support beams/steel and weakened the support so much that there was no resistance. In normal buildings, that's why demolition crews have to blow up on each floor not just the bottom. Otherwise, shit flies everywhere.

unless the debris damage was on both sides of the building, the building should have fallen at an angle/tip over, not pancake down.

Take a box, take a chunk out of one side of the bottom and see what happens.
