i agree that with all professions, there will be assholes. but the police are a little unique in that people who want to have that kind of "power" enlist.. people who want to have a job of authority, and a cop is all they can be. there's some cool cops no doubt who join with good intentions, who want to protect and uphold the law.. but there's a lot who join to be above the law and have fun..sadistic type people who actually enjoy bullying people, there's some psychology behind it.. I once lived in a small town for almost a year where the entire police force was corrupt. they once arrested a teenage girl, brought her up to the mountains, raped her than shot her.. they were all assholes, I found that out the day I got in that town lol. So ya, people who want that type of "fun", being above the law, gravitate towards positions of authority like that where they can be assholes and get paid for it. but there are some really cool cops as well, just not enough

I totally agree with you guys, I was never dissing the message, it was this one assholes response to his addiction to Fox News and his monthly edition of Minuteman Today.

By the way, the website is a joke, there is nothing on that DVD they're hawking for $15 a piece that anyone with even some common sense already knows...

yes, a lot of cops are dicks. yes, a lot are on power trips.

In my opinion the cop could have handled it differently. He could have actually talked to the guy and actually listened to why he was there. Maybe he would have found out the this guy with the camera used to be in the P.D.

What a surprise. My best friend (since we were 8) is a cop. He told me most cops are alcoholics and have a very above average divorce rate.

The problem is, wellfleation, if anyone had tried to help the girl and subdued the cop, that person would have been charged with assaulting a cop. That's the problem. The only answer is to keep the camera-phone ready to go at all times.
