BP seriously fucking sucks....
These guys are spending so much money on every rig and millions here millions there, the have all these robots and shit...
people get hired there after going to school for all sorts of years and getting special engineering degrees for this exact type of work. so how the fuck did they not learn in school that the potential for this kind of catastrophe could happen? and , like with nuclear plants for example, where the potential for a terrible disastor is so high, how did they not have a much more sophisticated fail safe system than a "blowout preventer" that fucking didnt prevent the blowout? i mean seriously, there is almost no way they didnt know each step of the way on this.... and the government is hugely at fault too- the government doesnt let any asshole run a nuclear power plant, they have to have inspections like weekly and meet all sorts of safety standards, have like 20ft thick concrete containment domes and shit in case of a reactor leak... it goes without saying that this shit should be standard for new rigs anywhere.... but that doesnt even begin to answer how the fuck these companies, BP is one of the BIGGEST AND RICHEST COMPANIES ON EARTH- how can they possibly have let shit be so lax in such a critical place that had the potential to have a disastor that destroys the fucking gulf coast for 20 years...... fuck bp, fuck whatever government agency issued bps permits and inspection certificates..., and fuck the dude who demanded they go fast that supposedly caused this shit.... just like with a nuke plant- these things should be designed to FAIL SAFE..... and frankly, the laxness with which this went it makes me worried about our nuclear plants too.... i think the british basically destroyed all the goodwill from america they gained from being our partner in the wOt from this.... i still apreciate blair standing by us, but seriously , fuck britain and their petroleum company. |

Why should BP give a fuck?
People talk about liability regulations and BP's CEO probably tells his PA to google the term for him because he doesn't know what it is. And a newsflash fo yo ass: BP has as much to do with the British people as do Americans with Binladen Group SBG. Oh and another one: WoT is just a little big bigger fallacy then WoD. |

to the idiot boycotts out there, most bp's are independently owned and operated by good decent people...so think about that while you try to use ideals to put food on the table.

they shouldnt and thats exactly why i say fuck em
all domestic oil should be pumped by american oil companies...period! other countries dont have to worry about american oil companies, because we, unlike bp dont have huge oil spills in other nations primary water habitats and then act like we couldnt give a fuck besides limiting our liability.... |

i blame Halliburton more than i blame bp...
the name on the rig isn't as important as the people who built the faulty hardware.... Quote:
BP is just the face to blame for the reclamation project, because they are just trying to protect their interests instead of actually getting shit cleaned up...

theres not one person or company to blame because there are so many involved in a huge project like this
but bp is giving GWB's response to katrina a run for its money. bp hates black people.

Yeah, couldn't this all have been avoided with an expenditure of half a million on some shut off valve? But georgie boy and dickless didn't want to cut into big oils profits.

![]() Dude. I hate the Bush regime as much as the next guy.. but come on.. when are you going to stop giving the Obama administration a pass?!? This operation was cleared over a YEAR after Obama took office... by HIS administration. This not only happened on his watch... it was approved to begin on his watch. Quote:
