Dumbing Down Society Part I: Foods, Beverages and Meds

Dumbing Down Society Part I: Foods, Beverages and Meds | The Vigilant Citizen

Dumbing Down Society Part I: Foods, Beverages and Meds
Jun 28th, 2010 | By Vigilant | Category: Vigilant Reports

Is there a deliberate effort by the government to dumb down the masses? The statement is hard to prove but there exists a great amount of data proving that the ruling elite not only tolerates, but effectively introduces policies that have a detrimental effect on the physical and mental health of the population. This series of articles looks at the many ways the modern man is being dumbed down. Part I looks at the poisons found in everyday foods, beverages and medications.

The sad part is....

The masses don't even realize this is going on and would be in denial if you tell them about it. Dumb da dumb dumb....

Great post.

For once I totally agree with you. Our governments are secretly controlling how we think, via our genetically modified food.

They ran away....

You should have seen the freakin' idiots running away when we were petitioning for the relegalization of hemp and cannabis just about 20 years ago. They would rather have oil spills and drug dealers. After all, their government is right. We have to have this in our lives. I couldn't imagine life without oil spills and drug dealers. Could you?

Hitler did the same things that are happening now. Especially during the Dubya regime. This has been going on for many years though as there were people in my senior class in high school who couldn't read and write and they graduated them. I met TEACHERS in NC who couldn't read and write. And they wonder why we have the poor economy we have.

Good article.

Glosses over stuff, especially Monsanto and rbgh, but overall it's enlightening to those that haven't a clue.

Hopefully, some will even be arsed to check into some of the claims and learn a little bit.

But, in the age of pharma/flouride/aspertame induced ADD... I haven't much hope of that happening.

Most will see the slider (scroll bar) at the side of the page being extremely small and disregard the information as "too much reading".

Yes I agree they gloss over Monsanto.

So here is this.

The World According to Monsanto - Full Documentary

I couldn't figure out of the actual full movie was on there, but everyone should check out the "world according to Monsanto", especially if that article was to much reading for anybody, the world according to monsanto is a very in depth look at this same situation.

That film also made me feel very bad for the farmers of america who are scared for their lives and of their own neighbors for ratting them out to monsanto.

It makes me very sad.

Quote:
Hitler did the same things that are happening now. Especially during the Dubya regime.
Hitler seized emergency powers after a foreign terrorist was blamed for setting fire to the German parliament building in 1933.
Bush seized emergency powers after foreign terrorists crashed air planes into the World Trade Center buildings in 2001.

Hitler opened special camps for those he thought were enemies of Germany. These were shrouded in secrecy. The average German knew only that the camps existed but not details of what went on within the camps's fences.
Bush opened special camps for those he thought were enemies of America. These camps also were shrouded in secrecy. The average American does not know what happens inside these camps.

Ribbentrop helped Hitler to effectively destroy the League of Nations.
Bush's Secretary of State, Colin Powell, helped Bush to emasculate the United Nations.

Hitler claimed to "free" Russia from the evil Jozef Stalin, the Russian dictator who murdered millions of Russians in the 1930's. Russians "liberated" by the German military.
Bush claimed to "free" Iraq from the evil Saddam Hussein, the Iraqi dictator who murdered thousands of Iraqis.

Those are just a few of the things that hitler and bush have in common.

I also recommend the film the bush/jfk connection.

whats so bad about it?

apparently you didnt read the article...

Here are some quick facts about fluoridation chemicals:

* they were once used as pesticides
* they are registered as “poisonous” under the 1972 Poisons Act, in the same group of toxins as arsenic, mercury and paraquat
* fluoride is scientifically classed as more toxic than lead, but there is about 20 times more fluoride than lead in tap water

Many studies have been conducted on the effects of fluoride on the human body and some notable adverse effects have been noted: it changes bone structure and strength, impairs the immune system and it was linked to some cancers.

Two new epidemiological studies which tend to confirm fluoride’s neurotoxic effects on the brain have shown that children exposed to higher levels of fluoride had lower IQs.”

A lesser known, but extremely important side effect of fluoride is the calcification of the pineal gland.

If you've ever done any research on the pineal gland, you know why this is such a slight against us.

So do you avoid tap water and only drink well water or do you filter it?

and no i haven't read the article YET but i do plan on getting to it soon, just a bit long and i have something else im reading right now.
note that i'm not trying to argue with you, i do agree taht the powers that be have a vested interest in 'dumbing us down' im just curious to hear the ways you think are most grievous and how you think they can by circumvented (drink well water to avoid physical poison, psychedelics to cleanse the mind of verbal poison, etc)

This gave me a huge chuckle.

I'm not being mean or poking fun... it just struck me as funny as hell.

Trying to take flouride out of water, or find things without flouride in them, is going to be difficult for the average person.

But dont you see thats the point.

The only people who CAN circumvent this, are the people with the money and time to do so(the elite), they have created slaves that aren't free.

How many of you can just stay at home and tend animals and a farm with crops to ensure that you have an untainted food supply and that your family is healthy, there are laws to prevent you from doing this and you will probably be harassed by the govt if trying to go off grid.

Then what would you even water your animals and crops with, a reverse osmosis filter is VERY expensive to keep and maintain, and any filter that does take out flouride is VERY expensive.

And even those who do farm, they risk having their lives destroyed by people like monsanto who regulate seed production for the world.

The only answer is to educate and unite people.

But like people have pointed out, when you inform people of these things, they just burry their head in the sand further and say "this isnt going on in MY world".

@ entitiy: meh, no offense taken.

but lsd/shrooms/dmt(this one is still on my to-do list) can really put some shit into perspective. when something as little as the pattern on a wall carries vastly more ontological weight than the whole phony bologna society we've built around us it helps you shed some of the values that said society supports.

Monsanto's hands aren't clean, but it's just not that bad...unless you consider the average person to be someone who has no idea that seed banks exist and has never EVER heard of bottled water.

Unaltered Seeds
The Safe Seed Pledge -- Heirloom, Open-pollinated, Non-hybrid Seeds

No Heirloom Seed Company On Earth Can Match Us In Quality & Price

Flouride
Fluoride water filters - remove fluoride using activated alumina
I actually own this product. Works great. And it's reasonably priced.

What laws (Specificly) are in place ANYWHERE in the USA that prevent you from living off the grid and raising your own meat and growing your own produce? Show me where is says THAT.

I read that alot of bottled water still has flouride in it, as well as alot of drinks and black teas.

Thanks for the filter recommend though, ill be checking that out.

Those laws im speaking of are keeping the general public from being able to make a living by selling those meats and produce publicly without being on the govts grid. Im sure there are people who do it anyway and get around it, but the average person isnt going to be able to do such a thing without catching flack from local code enforcement about zoning laws and having a business license. Plus most people dont have the land for animals and crops. If someone were to get sick from something they sold, they are liable to be sued, therefore again the govt making the small persons life unbearable if they try to free themselves of this slave system.

Hey, I agree 100%.

Never tried (or even heard of) dmt but sid and shrooms are both staples of mine.

Maybe it was just the wording that struck me as funny as hell.... but, it probably has more to do with the weed I'm smokin'.

Junk food is certainly making people fat and unhealthy. I don't yet see the connection of it making people "dumb" per se. Eating healthy after a certain hour of the day is almost impossible for some people. drive thru's and convenience stores are open 24 hours a day, but the farmers market only comes once a week. A big mac meal costs the same as 8 or 9 apples. Something is certainly wrong.

Not to mention the fucking BRANDING that dominates our eating habits. Coca Cola, Snickers, Lays, Wonder Bread, Planters, Swansons, McDonalds... the mentality to be associated with brands is sooo strong it's incomprehensable how effective branding is at getting people to eat crap.

if I had the money this is what I'd buy to avoid fluoridated water, unfortunately the area I live in just recently began adding fluoride to our water... I'm quite pissed about it tbh...
