I think it depends on which ones. People often believe that whitey has the power, and it IS true that the power is almost exclusively held by white people. However, it's only a tiny minority of white guys. The rest are just slaves like everyone else. The fact that it's easier for whites to acquire slave status (i.e. get a mortgage) really shouldn't be mistaken for racial priviledge.

I think the original point had nothing to do with the N word referring to slavery, but a word fueled up with hatred and bigotry. As in, "Muslim", has become a derogatory word in amerika.

That's true. For a long time, "nigger" was just a slang word for "negro". It's only relatively recently that it's intended purpose has been to anger or offend. That we attack the word, and not the intent, has a funny side to it, tho. Being human is all about missing the point.

One small 'victory' around these parts is people very rarely post 'nigger' as a reply to a post anymore.....

It's a small step, but one that took about 1000 'niggers' a day out of my life....

So great job YaHooka....l now we are basically down to conversations like this now and again. But there is still obviously more headway to make
