The best thing is to just not enforce the law unless someone gets hurt. It makes it so much easier that way. If someone was coked up and driving, and they killed someone, then they would test positive, and it would be an easy conviction.
If drugs were legal, then they would test positive, and the debate would remain whether they were coked up at the time of crash. Since it's legal, they could argue it was their right to snort some lines the night before. Don't you get my drift? |

How does getting hurt at work constitute a drug test? That's how far we've sunk. Besides I've heard of tests that can determine if a person has smoked in the previous 5 hours.

I'm just making the point that if legalization happened, there are a lot of things that could actually get worse. Liability is such a big thing now that I could see some even more paranoid measures put in place... I don't even know what they would be for sure... I just know I've been drug tested for a gas station job. DUI laws say if you come up positive for a drug test, you are guilty. Most weed smokers commit a DUI every time they drive (according to the law). |

I am 41 and support it. Most educated people (not too many, unfortunately) are for it. It's the SAVE THE CHILDREN people(idiots/uneducated) who are either naive or stupid. They have been brainwashed by after schoool specials - blame the Baby Boom gen if this does not pass. They are sell-outs! I hate them - they promised a lot and delivered nothing in terms of their youth values. Good job ass-holes!

The way I figure, if Prop 19 doesn't go through all we gotta do is wait another 10, 20 years, let all the old folks die off, and give it another go.

there was just a report the other day about how if this passes the beer companies in cali are pissed because they cant drug test employees for marijuana anymore.
that would be probably the best thing to come out of this legalization thing imo - i mean finding bud isnt that hard even when its illegal and buying legal weed is pretty pricey anyway... but the best part will be that they cant require u to take drug tests for pot anymore and you wont have to worry about pot in your system .... thats fucking awesome. on the other hand, i wonder if testclear is against prop 19 because it will cut into the drug testing business... this is the weird way that different groups make strange bedfellows... i gotta believe testclear has a consience like the rest of us and its not just about money.... |

I think prop 19 just might change the world... and I like it.
Vote yes!
