Good points or valid points?

I can make a lot of 'good points' about how pot is a gateway and how as soon as it's legal the world will be smoking pot and car crashes and stoned parents neglecting their kids and on and on and on...

Now, are any of those points valid? Probably not. But that's what the no on 19 camp is counting on, you'll be too scared to vote for freedom of choice because you've been frightened into thinking what they want you to believe and once you're good and scared, it's quite easy to get you to believe whatever they throw out the tube at you.

Besides the fact that your 'points' are total BS, I was talking about the regulation, controlling and taxing of it by the gov't. That's not such a good thing, and it's not gonna change many people's smoking habits who already grow and smoke, other than rape them with taxes and regulations.

A lot of people just don't want gov't interference, plain and simple.

Why would taxing and regulation be harder to avoid than prohibition?

because across the nation the "prohibition" is joke, especially in MMJ states.

But I don't really know all the aspects of it. Just givin my two cents in the matter.
I'd vote yes, but after weeks of "knowing" prop 19 will pass, I'm not so sure any more.

here's what much of the stink involves, however, anyone with a medical card can still smoke regardless of age.

Any person who is licensed, permitted, or authorized to sell marijuana, who knowingly sells or gives away marijuana to someone under the age of 21 results in them being banned from owning, operating, or being employed by a licensed marijuana establishment for one year.
i believe it is best worded this way simply because it would not get the general public support if the limit was 18...sad but true

I really don't think there should be an age limit.
Sure that sounds bad at first, but look what the age limit has done for tobacco.
Kids wanna smoke cigs cause they can't, cause it's illegal and cool.
If every one were aloud to smoke cigs, all these high school teens who get hooked, would take one hit and say fuck this! Cause cigs are nasty, period.

And what's wrong with 12 year olds gettin high and playin video games [staying out of trouble]?

So I grow 1 plant in my closet. Under current law in my state, that will get me 4 years in prison. 1 fucking plant. You can tax it, regulate it, do whatever the fuck you want with it and it's still better than keeping it illegal. Besides the simple fact that organized crime will lose their staple product is reason enough.

wtf? good or valid???

what kind of fucking distinction is that? i mean it's just the right thing to do, it's a character thing for me when you wouldn't vote yes to change rules that are still being upheld from the NIXON campaign! i mean shit.. the laws were so fucking racist! it should be obvious at this point to vote yes simply to remove something from Nixon related legislature.

so this very grey issue has a black and white-ness to it for me- paradoxical?

it is exactly what will happen if prop 19 passes:
pot will grow 20 feet tall in seconds when you water it
all joints will have bar codes
money will appear for everyone
prisoners wearing tight trousers with bulges will be given joints and set free
hot blondes will get high and talk about life
everyone will go to dennys and eat whole chickens and triple decker hamburgers
kids will get out of school at 4:20 and eat cannabis ice cream (for some reason the ice cream guy starting at 0:44 is especially hilarious)
hippies in flower vans will drive slow
beer sales will plummet
bears will come down from the mountains and into your living room for bong hits
