there is no seperation of church and state in the constitution u know...

it comes primarily from supreme court interpretations and jeffersons letter talking about a wall of seperation....

all the constitution says is that congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion or preventing the free exercise thereof.

thats actually not a bad point ego, i kinda wish there were some smarter rockefeller type republicans around these days... we need some of the people (who exist) who are smart well spoken and conservative to lead this country, one of the main problems with that of course is that smart people these days dont seem to want to get involved with politics for the shit u have to suffer with if u try to enter the arena.
but yea interesting point, the last intellectual republican president was undoubtably bush the first, but on the other hand all the smarts and harvard educations in the world dont seem to be making obama do all that great.

you impose term limits and you'll have christine oconnells coming out of every orifice..*note the cartoon doesn't show the bigger iceburg we just steered into..this election is only tangentially about Obama(44% approval)..it's rreally about congress(10% approval)
