One of the plane bombs was 17 MINUTES from exploding!!!
Al-Qaeda bomb in British airport was 'minutes from blast' - Yahoo! News
holy shit ...now everybody else is denying it but why else would this french dude say that ? they must just be trying to keep it under wraps for now. but damn, 17 minutes from bringing down commercial airlines again almost like on 9/11. fucking crazy . this makes me think 2 things, one we are lucky as hell and 2 the people fighting these terrorists are getting better and better because it sounds like this time the reason nothing happened wasnt because it wouldnt have happened but because the intelligence people got to it JUST IN TIME. so much for awlaki's 2010 election terror attack ,but damn that was a close fuckin call. |

You just have to stop and critically examine the terrorist activity that has occured since 9/11. The dumbass who locked his keys in the car, the shoe bomber, the underwear bomber, the bomb that ALMOST went off, etc. It's kinda ridiculous. In fact, I'm rather inclined to think that someone out there is asking, "how lame can we go before the American public calls 'bullshit'"? 9/11 was devastating, but nothing has really happened since. Just a few "incidents" here and there acting as continuing justification for the Office of Fatherland Security and other ramped up police state crap.
Now, I can't say for sure that it's all staged, but I can say that it sure seems that way. And since I'm inclined to trust my own judgement, and my judgement tells me that all this doesn't add up, I'm not going to just accept the "the terrorists almost got us again" news stories at face value. We live in the Age of Information, and DISinformation. You have to question everything. ![]() The Rev |

The only reason why this was intercepted (by British and UAE authorities) was due to Saudi intelligence. If they didn't let us know about it, we wouldn't have found it, and it would have probably went off. It was brought to the Saudi's attention by a former Guantanamo detainee who went through the Saudi's terrorist rehab program, who went back to Yemen after completion of the course and was recaptured.
Also, Rev, this is clearly not a US conspiracy. When considering conspiracies, you must consider motives. The only possible conspiracy could be from the Saudis. By sending the bombs themselves, with the illusion of them originating in Yemen, they could falsely assume that the US would consider another front in Yemen and possibly relieve the revolutionary aspects on their southern border, who are in fact AQAP, the most influential and operational wing of al-Qaeda. However, they are smarter than this and know that the US currently has no support for another campaign in the middle east, especially over a half-ass letter bomb campaign that was ultimately stopped by their own tip off.

i generally believe news stories but i dont like turn them into my gospel.
i dunno, if major news outlets are saying something, then u generally believe it, u dont necesarily "bet the farm" on a given news story , but u watch and see what others say about it the next day and the next day and after a while if enough different news outlets say something yea i accept it. what would u have me do ? are u guys all of a sudden 9/11 truthers or something? |

It doesn't matter how much, if any, of this is true. We now have to do something about it, no matter the stupidity. Seems like Yemen is in for some shock and awe with a lengthy brutal occupation to follow. After we destroy yet another country, we'll set up some enduring bases, keep thousands of troops there for training the conquered and pretend it was a success. Next.

After spending hrs in airports waiting and queuing and having my toothpaste thrown away I'd rather take my chances with the shoebombers

A bit more like Pan Am 103 than 9/11 but any likeness to the WTC attacks is good enough to get the fear a'boilin again so yeah I guess the fact that there may have been some terrorist activity on a flight makes it almost like 9/11.

The simple fact that al-Awlaki has committed treason against the United States, in the way that he has, is enough to "off" him, imo. He should have had his citizenship revoked a while ago.

Bring him to trial and prove it. The govt having the right to assasinate on their say alone is scary. And speaking of treason, how about the israel firsters members of congress being brought up on charges?

Yemen car bomb kills 2, injures 23 - CNN.com 10 killed in bus blast in the Philippines - CNN.com 32 injured in apparent suicide bombing in Turkey - CNN.com Blasts in Baghdad kill at least 63 - CNN.com Explosive packages sent to leaders of Germany, Italy - CNN.com those are only from the last 2 weeks... add in all the shit going on in russia, greece, france, ireland, uk over the last few months the problem is that the only stories that catch on have ridiculous sounding plots. or make the terrorists look like complete amateurs. im sure they get some retarded people to do the actual bombing but the people behind the planning and preparation are not stupid. and its definately not staged at all. tell that to the people who are losing family members on trains and buses going to/from work in countries that arent at war or even involved with the wars. unless they are staging it by setting off bombs everywhere else and having america get all the thwarted bomb plot headlines to make us look better.
